Visited here a couple of times and thought it was alright. Came here again on a night out with friends. Everything was fine until about midnight then several people on the table next to us started smoking (we were indoors). We commented on this amongst ourselves but didn't actually engage the group on the other table. They then moved to the other side of the bar where several other people were smoking. I also noticed the barman light up a cigarette. After about ten minutes one of the women from the group came over to our table. She asked us if we had been there before and I said we had been a couple of times. She then said that her and her friends went there every day and smoked. She said it was a lock-in and they were allowed to smoke, so I asked her if the doors were closed. They weren't and it was 1:00am (their own website says that they close at 2:00am on a Saturday). The woman then turned aggressive, shouting obscenities at our table and then screaming in the face of my wife. Then she picked up a glass and smashed it on a table directly behind the head of my friend, showering him in glass.
The barman (the same one who had been smoking) came over to apologise, saying only that she was drunk. The woman wasn't asked to leave and was still in the pub when we left.
