I had been reassured that John was aware of my request plus I had submitted pictures. A simple black & gray tattoo that maybe should have taken an hour to do. Instead, I have 5 flower heads without stems or leaves that cost more than double what I was expecting. There is no way to rectify this. The script is completely obscured. To say that I'm not happy is an understatement. This is why I felt the need to have a consultation. Obviously, he did not understand what I meant. Flower at the base of my neck, leaves on either side of script & stem running down my back around the words. This tattoo looks nothing like what I asked for. Avoid at all costs!!!

I went in and showed him my idea and he straight up told me that the quality wouldn't come out as good as I hoped for and that he didn't want to do anything that would be less than quality. We worked together to come up with another idea that I absolutely love. I'm not sure what Bethany is trying to say in her review, all my work looks fantastic and none of them are tramp stamps. I haven't had any experience with Scott, as I've gotten all my tats done by Steve. He took the time to work out with me exactly what I wanted, positioned it on my body and made sure it was perfect in my eyes. When I got my first tattoo, he explained what would happen, how it would feel, and what to expect. My first tattoo did not hurt whatsoever and was less nerve-racking than I was expecting. When I go in now he talks to me while I'm being tattooed to calm my nerves. When I got my rib piece done he would explain which part he was working on and what kind of needle he was using, whether it was for shading or outlining. He let me take a little break for lunch to keep my blood sugar up and continued to work. He's very honest and upfront, and the shop is always clean. I feel like I would be cheating on them if I got my work done elsewhere. His rates are fantastic for the work that he does, and he's been tattooing for 25+ years. Great guy, great shop.
