Even though we were there in August, as soon as the sun sets the small village becomes a ghost town! Centrally located for St michaels mount, and the tiny beach. Our room (top floor room 8 i think) had a view with the sea, and came with fresh towels, tea and coffee making facilities, and a small lcd tv. There is also free parking at the rear of the b&b The only down side was that the shower cubicle was not so big. Apart from that, the room was very nice. We would definatly return if we retuned back to Cornwall. This place is great for a get away. Not the place to come if you want a lively town, but great for romantic get aways.

We stayed 2 nights and found the place to be absolutely lovely. The owners, Howie and Andy, are perfect hosts. They cook a delicious breakfast, and are super attentive to any dietary preferences or requests you may have. The rooms are tastefully decorated, and very clean. At night, you can open the windows to your room and let in the sea air. This place is top notch, a "must reserve if ever in Mevagissey" as the Little Cornish B and B is a real gem.

Within minutes Debbie had us in our room and settled. It is a 3 room boutique style B&B in a lovely house right in the midst of St. Ives down on the harbour. It is a short 5 minute walk from the train station. Our room had a spectacular view of the harbour, and the sunrise the following morning. It was truly a million dollar view. The bed was beyond comfortable with fantastic pillows and bedding. The room was well equipped with a mini fridge, tea and coffee, and a modern en-suite bathroom. The breakfast room was bright and spacious, with a fantastic view of St. Ives harbour to inspire you to get out and enjoy the fresh sea air. Breakfast had a good variety of choice with fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt and a choice of fry up. The bread used for the toast has to be mentioned so yummy and such nice thick slices. Debbie and Carl our hosts were lovely, very welcoming and professional.

The patrons ran it like a friendly home and went out of their way to help with anything you needed. The rooms were clean, airy and nicely decorated and the ensuite was faultless (how many bathrooms have you seen that had somewhat questionnable cleanliness...., well this was not one of them!). If you are lucky, you'll even get the room with the stunning sea view. The breakfast was delicious and you could choose from local smoked haddock, full English or continental all served in their garden-facing breakfast room. The owners even went the further mile to catering for my partner with Coeliac-friendly items. The rooms had a TV/DVD combo and you could "rent" DVDs from their selection for 50p a night, which was a nice touch. The location is fantastic (walking distance to the seafront) but just at the edge of town, meaning you don't have to navigate the windy roads further into St Ives, which can be tricky sometimes. There is also parking available for guests (which can be a rarity in St Ives). Would definitely recommend. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We arrived rather late at night due to getting a bit lost and stuck in bad weather on the drive from London, but Rosie was so understanding and even greeted us with a hug and a "Happy New Year!" She and John were both lovely hosts throughout our visit and we really enjoyed talking with them. The location is wonderful and makes you feel like you've been transported back to an old movie in the English countryside - we spent all of New Year's Day morning walking around the grounds and visiting the horses and the beautiful old church on site. Breakfast was excellent, we loved the family suite (and excellent value for two bedrooms and a large private sitting room), and especially appreciated the tip from John upon check-out about taking the train to St. Ives instead of driving - we followed his advice and had a great afternoon there! Heartily recommend and hope to visit again next time we're in Cornwall!

It's a great B&B, very well located, run by a delightful couple who are 100% focussed on meeting your needs and showing huge hospitality. Great breakfasts, excellent, clean rooms with ensuites, and a little outdoor sitting area for guests. Close to two magnificant beaches, 2 mins walk from a superb local pub, a few hundred yards from the coastal walk, and 35 mins drive from the Eden project. A great place to stay. HIGHLY recommended.
