The guy that runs it is fantastic, and really great coach too if you want lessons. They have a nice putting practice green and a clubhouse/pro shop with tons of stuff in there... They rent pull carts if you want them and they even have golf carts that are really reasonable too (who wants to lug their clubs all around ;) We had a thresome playing and had such fun and liked the course so much we came back again early and played again before we headed home. ONE TIP... do not use WAZE, or even Apple Maps to find it. or it will take you down this road called Sarrar Rd which runs into a dirt road BEHIND The course... not to the clubhouse. Just DO NOT TURN ONTO Sarrar... Stay on the main road (Cherry) and it leads to WOODHAVEN DR and their sign, beyond Sarrar... it is so weird but do not follow the GPS blindly, or you will not get there .

Met the owners and they were so pleasant and friendly to me and my boyfriend. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Definitely will play again when we make it back down there.

Chuck the assistant Golf pro also told me I can't hit any balls since I didn't have a collared shirt. I've never been to a range where this was an issue. Played The Walker Course for the for the first time Friday (before a home football game) and had an…read moreexcellent experience. The greens and cart fee were fair given the outstanding conditions of the course and carts. Beautiful course and scenery. Greens were relatively fast (maybe an 11 on Stimp). The pro shop staff and bag attendants were helpful and courteous. Carts were loaded with courtesy cooler/ice/water. Crossed paths with the cart girl three times during play. Pace of play for a full course on a Friday morning tee time was 4:05 which is fine by me as it was the first time playing and wanted just a hair more time on each shot. If you are a mid-handicap or higher, play the white tees first and then move to the mix of white/purple for the second round as you become more familiar. Will be coming back next month for another round. Practice facility and turn-house should be re-opening in October as that was completely overhauled. Have lunch adjacent to the pro shop at the Lucky Duck Cafe, it was very good as well!

They were very rude about the fact that we were trying to play faster by playing 8 man captain…read morechoice! Seeing as it was much faster playing that way, and I told them even about me having to take a 4 1/2 hour ride home, so that way I didn't have to play in the back group playing slower so I could be home in time to make it to be at my military formation after our round. They had no care about what people have going on, they were very disrespectful and rude for the fact we were trying to make our round quicker seeing as that we had a lot of family and friends playing! Very bad experience and the manager who talked to us was very rude and not understanding at all! he kicked us off the course because other people were complaining about us being slow even though every hole we had to wait on the group in front of us! He ruined a round of golf with my family coming off a deployment! If you want a place who respects military service members DO NOT come here! Very sad that they can not hear people out!

I usually find what I am looking for in the store, but I would like to see them carry more hiking apparel like Columbia, etc. I know it is not the store's call though. This is a well-kept store - clean and well lit. Overall, I am satisfied with this location.

Every time I've played…read morethis course they've severely overbooked and after the first tee you'll be stuck waiting a minimum of 15 mins to tee off every time. I just played today as a solo and it took 4 hours to play through the front 9 due to being stuck behind multiple separate groups.
