When I pulled up to deliver groceries at the front desk, I pulled in and I thought I was in a magazine The lawn looked so amazing. I was almost scared to walk into the building, very elegant and upscale. I attended a wedding here a couple of months ago and I was truly shocked with the poor management and upkeep of the property. There was unfortunately some bad weather and instead of having a backup plan and generator, we were all (literally) left in the dark for over an hour. It was also extremely hot and stuffy. We were shuffled from room to room with seemingly no plan. I couldn't believe a proper wedding venue didn't have the necessary equipment and organization to handle bad weather/power outage. Thankfully the power came back on eventually but please be warned that this venue was not ready to handle a simple power outage and the venue itself wasn't in the best condition! read more

The outdoor ceremony grass space is COVERED in goose poop. And has zero shade. The air conditioning is "too old to keep up" on hot days. Every space was incredibly hot. The food was worse than bad hotel conference food. I do not recommend this venue. read more

Warning to all. It has been (6) months since my wife's and I's wedding, and we have been dealing with reviews left on The Knot trying to be edited by this venue to hide the many issues we had at this venue back in May. First off, the venue was less than transparent in the contractual terms on the contracts. There are many things that they did not make us fully aware of before taking a 50% deposit such as the fact that they literally do nothing as far as set up and take down at the venue and all of the little extra fees for every little item that you would need as part of your event (to help you out though, it is still just cheaper to buy everything on Amazon and resell on any online marketplace rather than rent from this venue). Then we got to the day of the wedding. First off, the day of the wedding, the water was completely out. My groomsmen and I couldn't take a shower until the water was turned back on (1 hour before the event started). Needless to say, everyone was freaking out. We were literally joking about having to potentially take a bath in the hot tub which was literally the only thing in the men's clubhouse that actually had water. Not the sinks, not the showers, nothing. On top of that, numerous facilities of the men's club were broken anyway and couldn't be used as we were told would be available the morning of the wedding. It was an outdoor venue and it had rained the night before, but with grass being in the outdoor section, everything should have been fine, except for the fact that half of the aisle way where the bride and bridesmaids were going to half to walk through in their dresses was completely covered in mud. Why? Because they failed to maintain and reseed rather large divets right in the middle of the aisle way. When I asked if there was anything they could do, they simply said that they weren't responsible for that. I literally had to run to Menard's to find large cuts of AstroTurf to cover these spots. Fortunately, of all of the places in this review, Menard's is awesome and they have 8x8 cuts of turf for $20 each. It completely saved the day. The grass was so dead, that I needed (6) cuts to completely cover it. So you don't have to do the math, that is 48-feet of turf that had to be used to ensure a bride did not get her dress muddy, no one twisted or broke an ankle, and that we actually left for the venue to reuse so as no one else had to deal with this. Chances are they threw it away, but we tried at least. We used a website that most couples getting married are familiar with, The Knot. They are now trying to remove and hide our review and experiences at this facility. They even tried to claim that we didn't actually have an event here and didn't have a contract. After having to provide them with a copy of our complete contract back in November, they began trying to claim that our experience was not real and that our review did not meet their "Review Policy Requirements." The simple fact of the matter is that the venue is less than upfront about all of the nuances of their convoluted contracts, the facility is less than helpful at making sure you have what you need at your wedding, so be sure you have the full support of a wedding planning team to help the day of, and be prepared for various components of the facility to not function correctly the day of. It is unfortunate to see a website like The Knot take this approach that they have as well, but people need to hear what issues that they may face on one of the most important days of their lives with friends and family. There were some things I was planning to do without-I had an arch that wasn't stable unless I'm the ground that I wanted brought inside and set behind my fiancé and I, and they made it happen! I came here last Sunday for the Beauty Boost Fall Taste of Fitness event. I had so much fun, but I always do at every Beauty Boost event. I loved the outside as it reminded me of outdoor home designs in Southern California where I grew up before moving to Ohio. I don't see that much anymore after moving to Ohio so definitely missed that look. Then when I entered I was greeted by two lovely ladies with Beauty Boost, who led me to the rooms where the Fitness classes were taking place. It literally was a beautiful room to do a back to back workout. Overlooking the beautiful outdoor scenery and spacious of amount of room for the ladies who showed up for a good sweat session. There was plenty of room for the vendors to set up their booths as well. I thoroughly enjoyed this event and saw it as the best way to start my day. They will rush you out of the locker rooms 20mins before ceremony started.. the dance floor and cocktail area is an oven .. no air conditioning in JUNE!! First time here. Beautiful place, very Tuscan style. We had a beautiful view of the huge pond and the swimmingl pool from the patio. Happy hour is till seven which is nice. The food was good but was disappointed in my small portion of fish. Lots of potatoes but not much fish. The waitress was very nice and informative but the service was alittle slow for no busier than they were. I understand they have a lot of weddings there . It's really a nice place for that. My daughter and I had a nice evening there. They also had a gym and a tennis court. It's sorta a country club for that area. Tho the restaurant is open to anyone read more

My mom ordered the walleye and came with a very small piece of walleye and whole bunch of potatoesl They have a great wine down Wednesday with $5.00 dollar glasses of wine. The service was pretty slow and but also they seem to want you to order quickly and move on I guess. Our server asked us several times you ready to order? Just used The Club at Corazon for our wedding. The staff Sara, Abby and Shane were flawless and our event went perfectly. The price was right in the middle but includes a lot! The restaurant menu choices made picking our food easy and the selection was diverse. The food for the wedding was excellent, everything was just the way it should be! Service was on point and all the background work happened quietly and seamlessly. The venue is beautiful inside, and a small amount of decorations make it even more so! The varied spaces from the bar and dance floor to fireplaces and lounge and outdoor terrace with seating and the fireplace made it so every one exited the ballroom and spread out to socialize! The space is very functional when utilized correctly. Because there's a real bar, after dinner, people didn't have to stand in line in a corner of the ballroom or other space to get drinks. Sara and Abby worked with us to make the lounge seating what we liked and need and were open to making what we wanted happeThe ability for the BOTH bride AND groom to have very nice private areas to get ready is pretty special and was much appreciated in the end. All in all we couldn't have asked for a nicer, more polite staff! The combination of visually appealing venue and staff made our night truly special and our guests very happy! CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED! If it were possible to give this venue 0 stars I absolutely would have. The only positive experience was 1 lady, I wish I had her name, she set up the dinning room for my sisters wedding. She was the one bright light in the entire day. The rest of the staff was beyond atrocious. My sister paid for an open bar and there was a $300 minimum per the venue contract that was REQUIRED for the bridal suites. While all of the ladies were getting ready, a total of 15, there were 2 bottle of champagne split between everyone. It was barely one glass per person. The venue did not allow any outside alcohol to be brought in, we absolutely abided by their rules. Right before the ceremony, some of the girls attempted to retrieve a drink from the bar. The bar tenders were absolutely HORRIBLE. Both of them were rude, condescending, and lacked in all basic customer service skills. The staff even made a comment about the bridal party, "here comes the **** show." Which was completely uncalled for. Not one person in the party was overly intoxicated. After the ceremony Hallie, the wedding coordinator was nowhere to be found. Myself and other family members were hunting her down the entire evening. At one point my sister found her hiding in a closet on her phone! My sisters bridal party, Including myself, worked closely with the photographer and DJ to keep things moving as Hallie clearly had no interest in doing her job. After the dinner hour there were again multiple complaints about the 2 bar tenders. One person reported that the man behind the bar shook the tip jar in someone's face. Another reported that the male bar tender was charging people for their drinks, it was an open bar. And another person reported watching the male bartender pocket cash! On top of that, the club had water leaking out of a/c vents and the ceiling. Water was literally dripping on people. Prior to the event they had buckets located in multiple areas but then removed them during the event.After the event came to a close my sister reached out to the owner of the establishment directly. Initially he had responded and said he would be speaking with Hallie. After their conversation, my sister was told that Hallie would be giving her a call on a specified date. My sister never received the call. My sister and her now husband quite literally paid this club the equivalent of a decent down payment on a home to have their wedding here. To say they are disappointed and our family is disappointed would be an understatement. If you are considering having your wedding here I would STRONGLY advise you look elsewhere. read more

The worst experience we have ever had. I hope this is read quickly by everyone because the owner, Oya will try to have it taken down as soon as she is notified of it. She has had bad reviews deleted from the The Knot as personally confirmed by my talking with their customer service center when I noticed my review was gone. Tells you how she conducts her business and the lengths she will go to hide the truth. Yelp, I'm hopeful you don't allow such behavior. Now on to Oya and her business. From the very beginning of our contract with her, she and her management team became non-existent. It took weeks for them to return emails and phone calls, during a time when this is supposed to be a happy time for a bride. However, this was the most stressful time of our lives. She made it unbearable. When she would finally respond, she would answer one question out of 5 and then the cycle would continue. We had to always fit our meetings around her schedule because she only works a couple days a week and lives out of town. At one point she made 7 people reschedule our appointment to another day and she still didn't show up, and this was for our final walkthrough! The turnover in her venue is terrible. We were assigned 4 different event planners in one year because her staff kept quitting. One person that was assigned to us never once contacted us in an ENTIRE MONTH after so many emails and phone calls never being returned that I can't even count. I have all of the documentation to prove this and would be happy to provide it to anyone wanting it. On the day of the wedding, my husband spent the day cleaning up the grounds of debris in order for it to look nice for our daughters wedding. We have video of this. Oya also saw him doing this and laughed, thinking it was funny. This is not what the father of the bride should be doing on the day of his daughter's wedding while the owner looks on. It was heartbreaking to me and my daughter. Our cocktail hour was cut significantly short as Oya opened the doors to the reception room after she was specifically asked not to causing guest to leave the cocktail area prior the bride and groom showing up from picture taking. Thus, they didn't have time to mingle with the guests. This may have been done because they ran out of appetizers that were paid for but never served. The final straw was that we had money and an expensive veil stolen from a supposedly secured area of the venue and when asked for assistance in trying to determine what may have happened to it, we were denied assistance from Oya and her staff. According to our contract, it states the area where the money and the veil were taken from was under video surveillance. We filed a police report, however the police had no better luck. We and the police were denied access to the video. Additionally, she has refused to return our security deposit to us after numerous attempts to understand why it hasn't been returned. All we have received from her are ridiculous and bogus accusations, going so far as to make claims that have been refuted by phone and in writing to her by our vendors, and also contradicted by her own conversations with four different individuals. There are several other things that I could go on to list, but will just implore others to please do your homework before hiring this or any venue, but specifically The Club at Corazon. We found out too late. Had we done our homework prior to signing a contract with them, we would have heard all of the negativity surrounding this venue, it's management and it's owner, Oya. read more

We attended a wedding here late last year and to say it was terrible is giving it too much credit. The grounds were in terrible shape, landscaping a mess. The outside terrace was cracked and horribly uneven resulting in people tripping. Once it became dark outside, there was NO lighting in the front or back of the venue. When the management was asked about this, we were told they had a problem with it. An elderly couple fell outside because they couldn't see the curb. I'm not sure what happened with them after the incident. That's just outside. Inside, appetizers were scarce to none because we were told the kitchen ran out. The table were missing bread plates, and different pieces of flatware. The person who was later identified to us as the owner walked around during the night in a very angry manner and we noted her yelling at some individuals. Overall, we would never recommend this place to anyone and really felt sorry for the bride and groom because we could tell how stressed out they were due to the actions of the staff and owner. A Bride and Groom's Biggest Regret - the Venue! As if planning a wedding during COVID wasn't stressful enough, the Club at Corazon made the experience terrible to the point of disbelief. From the beginning, communication was a huge area of challenge. Emails were unanswered for weeks (we have documentation to prove this), and when an answer finally came, it would resolve one question but miss all other questions leaving us with even more questions, the circle would continue. One month from our wedding, the onsite coordinator took a "leave of absence" and we were shoveled around from person to person with no clarification for over a week who would run our wedding. In one year of planning, we had 4 different coordinators - turnover is horrendous. With 3 weeks to go, Oya or Alyssa, not sure her real name, steps in. Oya's work schedule consists of 3 days a week, so we were forced to reschedule our final walk through (according to her did not need to happen - when do venues not do final walkthroughs?) that has been set for weeks. 7 people changed their schedules to fit hers, and she did not show up the day of. We were placed with someone who just started at Corazon that week and could not answer any of our questions. The day of the wedding is where Oya showed her true colors as a business owner - we were treated as a paycheck not real people. She screamed at many of our vendors, who have since communicated they will not work with Corazon in the future. She opened the doors to our reception early effecting how much time we spent with friends and family, even after she was told by our hired wedding planner the family would like more time during cocktail hour. We realized later she did this so she could leave by 8:30 PM and left the remainder of the night to another person on her staff who we never saw. From day one, we were told the venue would be closed to members on the day of our wedding. In reality, members were present until 6:00 PM while our wedding occurred. During the evening, $300 was stolen from my dad's wallet in the men's locker room and my $1,300 veil was stolen from the bride's quarters. We attempted to search the venue the Monday after the wedding, but were denied access to the trash and were told video surveillance would be provided (it is outlined in our contract video surveillance was intact the entire time). To this day, we don't know who took the veil or money but no video has been provided and it took weeks to get any response from them on these matters (including emails, phone calls, additional drop ins). We filed police reports with the Dublin Police who also had to drop by the venue to get a response from Corazon. Additionally, we attempted to get a final bill from the bar that was still outstanding 4 weeks later - we still have no itemized details about what was consumed that evening, just an obscure number. Oya has taken no responsibility for what occurred in her venue and blamed us for all that went wrong that evening, including money and the veil being stolen. Its is truly unbelievable. When I say I am disappointed in the experience, those words really do not do justice for how much they impacted our wedding day in a negative way. I warn anyone who is considering the Club at Corazon for their wedding - DON'T! Reading this post will save you a lot of heart ache, frustration, money, time and tears. This is one of the most beautiful spas I have ever visited. The staff is super friendly and the amenities in the spa (locker rooms, shower, steam room, hot tubs) are amazing and beautifully done. We had a girl spa day from 10am and didn't leave until 5pm...it was such a relaxing and fun day there. Everyone in the group had wonderful things to say about all their services...we all got massages, facials and Mani/pedis. I would highly recommend this spa and plan to go back again soon! Worst service I have ever received. Was working out next to a lady who decided to tell me she was only paying $100 for her and her partner when i was charged full price of $199. Several other members got involved in the conversation only to find out everyone was paying a different price. Manager NEVER returns phone calls. You stop in at the front desk and everyone is clueless when you ask a question about anything pertaining to the facility. Customer service is terrible!!!! For an "upscale" facility they sure do not offer "upscale" attitude, customer service, or knowledge. I would not recommend this place! I visit Columbus frequently for my work. I make it a point to stop by Corazon every time I am in town. The facility is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful you will ever experience. Completely refitted with the latest cardio and strength equipment less than a year ago. The pools and spa are straight out of Vegas, but with the kindness and attention to detail you'll never see out there. I am amazed you could ever find this calibre club anywhere in the midwest. If you live near Dublin you're missing out if you haven't yet joined. I was at the first day of summer pool opening party last week, you can now buy drinks and snacks poolside, as well as have a cocktail in the locker room after working out or swimming. read more

They are now under new management and they are worse than ever! They refuse to accept the groupons previously offered and did not have the decency to call and cancel my appointment. The manager was suppose to call me the next day---of course no call. I had to call several times to get someone to talk to ---kept leaving messages, but they would not call back. The new manager tried to tell me they only took over the space bleep bleep! They are still operating under the name of Vita Spa which means they took over the previous business and their customers. What a farce for an upscale spa. The Dublin community should run them out of town! Anyone who does business with these frauds deserves what they get!
