They usually have a few quite good offers on food, and their fresh bread and pastries in the morning are not to be missed. Also if you go after 8pm at night it is quite likely that a lot of the food will be reduced and sometimes you can get really good bargains. Overall I would recommend the co-op for picking up a few essentials rather than a large family shop.

Also a surprisingly good selection of beer and wine for such a small store. The staff are super friendly. I always get a smile and a thank you when I buy stuff there, and it doesn't even feel superficial. Also, the staff are really good about helping you find things - they really know their stock, so if you do have trouble finding something in the vast array of items, just ask. I'd do all my shopping here if I could - the only thing they lack is fresh meat and fish, for which I have to face the much less pleasing Sainsbury's down the road.

The prices of Co-Op branded products are reasonable, branded products are slightly high, but you pay for " convenience" The product range was okay, but I couldn't get the items I came in for, I do prefer Sainsbury's or Marks and Spencer nearby in that regard. The staff were friendly enough, the checkout area was designed to be able to scan, pay and go pretty quickly, although a mobile payment app similar to Marks and Spencer would make it much better. 3*

They have a pretty good selection of fruit and vegetables for a shop of this size, including an organic selection. They also have a chilled, meat and dairy selection, a freezer section and a good variety of basic essentials. It's a great place to stop and get a fresh, warm French baguettegreat for a bacon sarnie at the weekend! They also have good offers on beers and wines, which we often indulge in. The staff are friendly and always say hello and how are you which is very pleasant. This shop also has a cash machine, and they offer up to £50 cashback at the till, which is extremely handy when you're on your way to the tube (there's also hardly anywhere to get money out in the Grove Park area of Chiswick) I give it 5 stars for convienience, although it is more expensive that the supermarkets, but when you need something, you need it!

The store is very small, about the size of a London Drug's in Canada or a Walgreen's in the US. There is not a lot of variety of products as compared to North American stores where you may typically find 3-6 brand names of a particular product or product line. The prices, accounting for currency conversion, are on par with those at a 7-Eleven or other convenience store. The store hours are from 0700 to 2300, though 4 different times, I was able to enter after 2300 and purchase items. The staff was friendly on each visit. The location is perfect as it is 1 block from London Underground's Bayswater Station, 3 blocks from the Queensway Station,and 2 blocks from the Hilton and Hyde Park Inn & Suites which is great for tourists. I do like this area and will be visiting the store again on my next trip. I recommend this for those whom are new to the area to get an idea about prices and such.

However for anything I have missed or for any bits you need on the weekend the Co-op has it. They also do fresh bread and have a pretty good wine selection. Its located very near the station so very convenient. The staff are very friendly and can help you find anything you need. In summary its more expensive than your usual supermarkets so I would not use it for a weekly shop but if you need some bits and pieces of the papers and bread this is the place.
