Not a fan of the co-op down the road this is the best place to get produce, eggs, meat and just about most things you can think of to fill your fridge and cupboard. The upstairs even has large freezers with ice cream and baked goods, and more meat. The people are very friendly and everything is quite affordable. I am so happy to be able to support my local farmer. They'll soon be starting a delivery service as well!

My husband was able to find whole oats here (called Jumbo Oats) which he couldn't find in any of the major grocery stores. The meat prices are extremely good especially for being so fresh and local, and the frozen meats are a super bargain! We bought some just-picked seasonal strawberries yesterday and they were amazingly delicious. We still need to get some things at a bigger store like some familiar national/international brands or particular varieties of groceries, but Radmore Farm Shop is definitely our new place to walk for fruit, veg, and meat. It's perfect for those "What are we going to have for dinner" afternoons because I can grab meat, onions, mushrooms, and whatever veg suits and cook something up fast. We are definite fans and plan to shop here routinely while we're in town.

Its the centrepiece of a very tidy shopping centre which houses names such as Next, Boots and so on, but the Tesco store itself is worth a visit on its own. Its huge - bigger than you might think, and really does contain anything you might need under the one roof - food, drink, DVDs, electrical goods, clothes and a Tesco direct counter. Also open 24 hours, and the couple of times I;ve been at 2am ish, its still been steadily busy!

It often gets very busy, however it is fully staffed which means that queues remain fairly low. With a large carpark and located next to a big retail park, it is an excellent place to do your grocery, DIY and electrical shopping.

The trollys take a pound coin which I often find annoying as Im often out with only my credit card but at least it means that theyre not dumped in the carpark! Being in a shopping centre, it's not like visiting an out of town superstore, but I think that makes Waitrose better. They concentrate on food and drink instead of cut price clothes and electronics. They carry all the major leading brands, but also offer their own brand which is just as good as the top brands if not better. Being too expensive is an accusation often levelled at Waitrose, but they sell good quality, which costs and they also keep items yoiu might not see elsewhere. Every month, they also have special offers and three for two offers, so you can save some money depending on what you buy. The other thing about Waitrose is that it tends to be a low stree shopping experience. No trolley barging or masses of people, just well mannered people all doing their shopping, a slice of civility in today's hectic world.
