The test seemed really thorough and took quite a while. I was told at the end that my vision was fine and didn't need glasses or anything. I've not been pestered by them since for other eye tests or anything so I would go back again when I next get one.

Extremely professional ,polite and well dressed he arrived on time and was prepared to spend the time to give me the best advise to as what was best for my home and carpets.He measured all rooms exactly and tested all rooms to give me the best advise on how to tackle each room as to give the best treatment at the optimum price. the equipment used by Elite carpets is state of the art so I was very pleasantly surprised by the quote I was given. The job was executed to the minute and a fantastic job was done with the best possible results. To say I was happy is a understatement! I am so happy I am going to enter into a quarterly contract to keep my carpets fresh and clean. My DC25 Dyson stopped working after 5 years of trouble free service, I called their Customer Care…read moreService who quoted £100 for a service and repair which I thought was a good deal. I was then advised by a friend to try out York Floorcare whom I quickly called and spoke with Alan, he asked a couple of questions and asked me to bring it in for him to have a look at and said that if he could not fix it I wouldn't be charged. Within 24 hrs I had received a phone call saying that it had been repaired with genuine replacement parts, serviced, thoroughly cleaned and ready to take back home. I picked it up and was a amazed at how clean it looked and better impressed with its functionality. As for the price, £65, a lot less and a lot faster than what Dyson could offer. Thank you Alan, for a really really impressive service and quick repair that I genuinely thought that I would not see my Dyson again.

It is not the most modern of locations, but adequate for meetings; not a representative professional venue however. It's just outside York itself and to get there, a car or public transport is necessary. Parking is free in front of the building.
