We are first-time parents and we were a little nervous at first about leaving our daughter in a daycare, but we quickly realized that it is the best place that she could be. The kids learn so much from being in a group environment and from all the activities that the teachers offer. There are weekly activities such as piano class, yoga (cute!), dance, painting, crafts, and baby signs, making the days full of learning and exploration. The strong ethnic flavor of this school may seem daunting for non-Russian speakers -- but all classes (except for Russian of course) are taught in English by fully bilingual instructors. The teachers really care about their students and are always willing to help when someone is struggling. They, along with the TA´s, take the time to answer questions and explain topics students found difficult until students can understand them. One thing I especially appreciated was that during the summer program, Master Klass offered Zoom sessions where students could get extra help with their homework from a TA. It showed that they were willing to support students even outside of regular class time.I also like that Master Klass challenges students without making them feel overwhelmed. If a class is moving too fast for someone, the teachers are willing to adjust their schedule so they can learn at a pace that's more comfortable. Overall, I would definitely recommend Master Klass to others. The teachers are supportive, the classes are challenging in a positive way, and it's a place where students can learn, grow, and do their best.

The staff was about to leave when I walked in for a holiday break over the summer, but Ms. Donna welcomed me in to show me around. I was impressed with how clean each of the rooms were. They have hard wood floors throughout with the occasional area rug for children to sit and play or read. Each child has their own hook for their coats and backpacks. The infant room as a dedicated location for each child's belongings (Diapers, cups, snack, pacifiers, etc.) They have an outside location for the children to play during the warm weather. In the summer they do water play. Once a week the music teacher comes in and the kids have a blast. Tiny Tiki is a fun place to be. After a short discussion with my husband we decided to bring our daughter here. Day one was rough for me to leave my daughter at 3 months old, but Ms. Donna was quick to send me pictures of how happy she was throughout the day. Over a year later I can honestly say choosing Tiny Tiki was the best decision. My daughter is so happy to go to day care each day. She knows all the teachers and can say their names at almost 2 yrs old. They all care for each of the children as their own. There are even times when she cries because she doesn't want to leave. He has learned so much. I attribute his behavioral turn around in part to the staff here. When he started, he would throw daily tantrums but not anymore. The women who work there care for him as though he were their own child. They are mostly middle aged to older women who believe in a balance of being stern and having rules and time out when necessary but also love and compassion. They work tirelessly every day and don't lose their patience in situations where I surely would. I know upon first glance, it may look like an old home. It doesn't have all the glitz and gloss of some newer, fancier daycares. But it does have what many of them don't. It has heart. If you're looking for a daycare that makes you feel like you just dropped your kid(s) off at your grandmother's house, this is it. The kids all have what they need- love.
