Since this is for a specific branch of CBTL, my review will focus on this location in particular. Trinoma is huge! Between having a transport terminal for Jeepneys, the mall being on EDSA and the terminal station of the MRT-3 all converging at the mall, it makes for a fairly busy situation. If the volume of people proves to be too much, this spot in one of the open-air nodes of Trinoma is a welcome respite.
I've noticed that this split-level location is a bit roomier than other locations and brighter too. It also has a smoking section outside. The service here is about as good as you'll have at any other CBTL in Metro Manila, which is a good thing. The baristas are always ready and willing to answer any questions you may have about the food or coffee.
My favorites include their iced Americano (it has more of a nutty mouthfeel and taste than the bitterness of the Starbucks Americano), the chocolate lava cake (it's rich without being too sweet, you can actually finish the whole thing without being sick to your stomach), and any of the pasta dishes serve as a hearty meal if you want to have a full meal here.
The crowd is a nice mix of families, students, and professionals. It tends to get pretty full in the afternoons and weekends, so if you plan to camp out here all day, come early. Wi-Fi is free provided that you have their Swirl Rewards Card. read more
