The manager was excellent, he dealt with the problem swiftly and had it repaired within the hour to a very high standard. He was very apologetic and professional and a pleasure to deal with. Having read the reviews I was unsure about going back in however I am very glad I did as it was clearly a genuine mistake that was cleared up immediately and without any trouble.

When me and my friend were talking, needing a drink, needing the toilet (which as a person with prostate issues is common) he argued with us and blamed us for everything, all while Barry and his existing staff were talking and able to do what they wanted. A customer once came in with a laptop and all the replacement parts and all he needed Barry to do was swap them over but Barry made up some absolute BS excuse as to why he needs to use HIS parts (which were wrong) and argued with the customer saying he was stupid and wrong, ended up asking the customer £250 for a quick repair, a repair that already included all the replacement parts etc My brother went in with a cheap phone to get it fixed, Barry asked for £90, way more than the phone is worth and argued with him etc. Barry treats his new staff like absolute dirt, he talks down onto his customers, uses terrible quality parts, makes lies after lies, over charges etc. etc. etc. - He is absolutely the worst repair guy I have EVER known of, absolutely avoid at ALL COSTS.

Both were dropped off one day and ready for collection next day fully repaired. Both have been fully repaired and look like new! Great being able to drop off and collected next day! Brilliant service, competitive price with internet, but preferred a personal service knowing where/who you are dealing with. Well worth it. Many thanks again, highly recommend.

This branch of Samsung is a "Samsung Experience Store" and it is located in Leeds city centre on…read moreBriggate, on the topic of Samsung Experience stores, these stores are different to other Samsung stores as they tend to showcase the latest and larger selections of Samsung technology, including exclusives. The only other time I visited a Samsung Experience Store was back in the Summer of this year, where I visited a branch which was laid out fairly similar to this one, yet slightly larger in Newcastle Upon-Tyne. Moving back to this branch in question - it is in a good location located on Briggate, perhaps not as central or easy to find as the Apple Store which is located in Leeds Trinity, but the store is still in a decent central location and easy enough to find. The staff in this store didn't stand out as much as other stores, for example at the Samsung branch mentioned earlier in Newcastle, or most Apple stores in general. The store seemed to have a good, yet not fantastic range of product, and there wasn't a huge amount of detail about the products, such as by saying why the product is special, its USP and what it can do that other device can't etc, there wasn't even a really obvious way of displaying the name or prices of the devices throughout the store. The selection of products on show, as mentioned was decent, but it was merely satisfactory. The store layout was average yet again, it was similar to other Samsung Experience Store branches such as Newcastle as mentioned, yet different to both branches in Manchester. A two-star rating as this store is decent and in a good location but to many points hit the boxes of average, rather than above average or even fantastic to warrant a higher rating, which is of course a shame.

They agreed to take the phone in for repairs free of charge. I provided proof of purchase and arranged to collect it the following day. They did a full software update and swopped out the camera module. It's now as good as new. All done inshop in Leeds. Brilliant service

Before I brought the phone in the battery was operating perfectly, had never had an issue. When my phone was returned it was partially charged by them, and I was informed that there was an issue with my battery and they could repair it for just another £65! I declined as there was no issue with the battery at the time of getting the phone back, or before I left it with them. Lo and behold when I go to charge my phone the battery is dead. It doesn't charge at all. Phones shouldn't be leaving the shop with issues they didn't come in with. Would avoid these guys with a barge pole.

I almost daren't write this review for fear of exposing how ridiculously foolish I feel for having…read morerequired iPatch's services, but in spite of my uselessness, I'm massively grateful so I ought to post my thoughts. The other day, as my Mum was up to visit me, we went out for lunch. As our food was arriving I hastily moved my hat and phone aside to accommodate the dishes and stupidly pushed my phone straight on to the hard tiled floor of the café. Oh. My. Gosh. Smashy smashy. The screen was completely cracked. I was devastated. How ridiculously idiotic and careless! I tried to ignore it as we ate our fantastic food, but it's not something that can be ignored; having spent so long with terrible phones and not once having dropped/lost them it was now that I had ruined my expensive and beautiful iPhone. Gah! So, I looked online for a solution. I'd seen the signage for iPatch before and checked out the prices so the next day voyaged over to the shop to ask about screen replacement. Being so nervous about my expensive phone I practically grilled the guy about everything, probably making him feel like a crook, but I was desperate to avoid a dodgy job. He obliged completely and showed me a whole box of broken iPhone 4 screens, explaining that was how many he'd fixed in the last few months. The screen is guaranteed for 90 days after the repair, he doesn't send them off for two weeks like other companies (he does them right there and then on the day, in about half an hour) and he repairs with Apple parts, not knock-offs. (Apparently some places offer just screen replacement with the iPhone 4, which they shouldn't since the touch screen and glass are one and the same.) In the end, after all the chat, I surmised that I'd have to pick someone to do it and I felt pretty comforted by his explanations. I got a little nervous, as my receipt to come and collect it was just a signature on a piece of till roll, but he assured me he wasn't going to disappear and he did not in fact disappear. Of course he didn't. I was being ridiculous. As promised, in half an hour after dropping it in, I came back to collect and everything was grand. The time and date needed resetting (which is standard) but other than that it was as good as new. Don't think I didn't scrutinise it for faults either - the only slight difference I *think* I noticed was that the colour was a mite different, but of course, that could be my paranoid idiot brain. It probably isn't and it definitely works perfectly. I'm saving the last star for it still being in perfect order in a few weeks, but really, I highly recommend this place. Although the repair totaled £100 I believe that it was for a quality job, performed by someone who is both knowledgeable and capable, with (in my meager knowledge, of course) good quality parts. Fingers crossed nothing goes wrong, but I think I've found a winner here! (Now if only I can stop being a clumsy oaf... )

Very impressed with the service and knowledge of this guy. I highly recommend this place and wouldn't think twice of using them again.

On a whim I decided to nip by here to see if they had camera memory cards, as it's all too often…read morethat I take a whole bunch of photos and then have to go back and delete choice ones to continue snapping. I wasn't sure if they would have my size but went in and had a mini mooch before one of their staff members asked me if I needed any help. I told him about my scenario and sadly they didn't have the memory cards of my size, but that he could order one in if necessary. I asked him how much they'd be, as I'd forgotten how much the original one was, and he was pretty honest to say that it was fairly expensive to get one in. I said I'd have a think and get back to him, as it was only on the off-chance that I popped in. As I was leaving I noticed under the counter their hoards of mobile phones, including what I believe to be an iPhone 3GS, so I'll have to have a think on that one too since I've been lusting after one for far too long now!
