The organisation is fantastic and they have achieved so much in such a short time, such as creating a Garda Ombudsman and campaigning for gay rights. A sign of any good progressive city is how they treat their citizens. This organisation has helped and is helping the human rights cause in Ireland and for that I applaud them because they have helped shape a modern Ireland that can rival any progressive city.

Their mission statement includes the desire for all of Ireland to have a fulfilling sex life. I mean you can't really go wrong with a clinic like that? They've been a part of providing women access to contraceptives and other sexual health needs since the change of legislation in Ireland. I've always attended with Dr.Tony Feeney or Dr.Mary Walsh. Both have retired within the past 2-3…read moreyears and I have tried a few of the doctors in the surgery since. It has taken some time, but they seem to have settled with a really good base of doctors now. I believe you need to be registered with the surgery prior to being able to see one of the doctors, so that is something to note, if you have moved into the area. I know a few years ago, they were not taking new patients but this may now have changed. There is a free hearing test clinic on-site, a pharmacy next-door and a dedicated nurse. There is also plenty of parking at the surgery or right across the road in the Tesco car-park. It means the visit to the doctors is hassle free. It is €55 for a standard appointment, which I do know is dearer than some other places.

They gave me an appointment within that day even though I wasn't a patient in the practice. I was waiting quite a while after I arrived, but I feel like that is often the case with most doctors! The doctor I saw was really nice & friendly, she made me feel totally relaxed. Hopefully I won't have to, but I would certainly go back to her if I were sick again!
