The entire team treats us with kindness, patience, and genuine respect every step of the way. I want to give a special shout-out to Jodi -- she is an absolute godsend. Her support, empathy, and dedication to her work are truly something special. She's not just great at her job; she's an amazing human being, and we feel incredibly lucky to have her as part of our journey. Thank you to everyone at South Jersey Fertility Center for making such a stressful and emotional process feel a little lighter and filled with hope. You're making a real difference.

My iuis and first ivf were unsuccessful, however every person that works here has been great besides for Dr, Van Deerlin. Absolutely no bedside manners, told me I would never have a successful egg retrieval (false, I had 8 egg retrieved and 5 embryos first time go) and there was also another uncomfortable experience with him when I went through my miscarriage (I will not go into detail with this one). Since then, I am preparing for my second transfer. Let me tell you, no one is on the same page. the nurses, doctors and coordinators are all giving different information. I get things such as the process goes on, however I am the one constantly asking questions instead of being informed as changes come. in addition, the artisan ally app is horrendous along with the portal. The clinic had a good portal going and instead swapped it was an app that has 1.3 stars. I use to get calls in a timely manner when my test results would come in and now silence. I almost feel like I'm the patient, coordinator, and so on.

Where do I start on how HORRIBLE this place is. If you are severely struggling with infertility…read morewith an actual diagnosis, do NOT go here. I have low AMH and diminished ovarian reserve. The doctors at RMA over medicated me and under educated. I was not made aware that the chances of me getting pregnant were extremely slim, They did not explain my diagnosis or suggest a solution to me other than to push more meds with higher dosages. After seeing an amazing low Amh specialist around the corner, he told me how much damage higher dose meds does for someone with my diagnosis. I am currently pregnant with twins thanks to Dr. Check at the Cooper institute. I would NEVER recommend RMA! Not only did the doctors at RMA push an egg donor on me repeatedly, RMA over billed me and fouled up our claims so terribly that I had to fight RMA for over 6 months to get my $8,000 back. DO NOT GO HERE!

I did not have good experiences and felt that I was not receiving the communication I was looking for. I felt unheard and in the dark throughout the process. After hearing positive things about RMA from a friend, I decided to go for a consult. I met with Dr. Osman who reviewed my history and gave me treatment options while being compassionate and understanding. I left my consult appointment feeling extremely hopeful, which I haven't felt in a long time, and decided to move forward with RMA. Best decision I've made! Dr. Osman suggested IUIs or IVF and gave realistic outcomes for both treatments. She respected our decision when we wanted to do IUIs first. After two failed IUIs, we decided to do IVF. Dr. Osman ended up doing my egg retrieval and embryo transfer. She was so comforting during those times, when I was feeling nervous or scared, which I truly appreciated. What I love about RMA is the communication. You're assigned your own nurse who knows your history and medical background, gives you directions regarding medications, treatment protocols, next steps, etc. My nurse, Tori, is phenomenal! I've talked her so many times and she really helped me throughout this entire process. Tori was always thorough and would make sure I had a good understanding on what was going on or what to expect next. I always found it comforting knowing that I could directly email her or Dr. Osman with any questions I had. They would always quickly respond back to me. I never had direct access to the doctors or a consistent nurse at other fertility practices. This consistent, open communication made my infertility journey so much easier. The entire staff at RMA is fantastic! The ladies at the front desk are always warm and welcoming. The phlebotomists, especially Melissa, are fabulous. Beth was so patient and thorough during our med teach. I always felt comfortable with all the morning monitoring practitioners, Dr. Franasiak and Haley. I have never had a negative interaction with any of the staff at RMA. I highly recommend RMA to anyone going through infertility. The journey itself can be overwhelming and frustrating but going to a compassionate place like RMA definitely makes the journey easier to navigate.

I have been with this practice for 13 years, and am leaving. This is not because of one thing, it…read moreis because of several small things. They used to care about their patients. I delivered my high risk babies with the doctors and NPs who USED to work here, and no longer work here. They caught my postpartum depression on a form I filled out when I didn't notice it and ran after me in the parking lot to make sure I didn't leave before they talked to me about it. They knew my kids, my mother, grandmother, and cared about me. Fast forward 10 years to 2022, the practice is now managed by Axia and they call me excitedly a week before my annual too schedule my mammogram in their office because "they can do it conveniently in the office now on the same day!" Oh, and it is covered by my insurance too! Not true, I get a surprise bill for more than $500 for something that I have never had to pay for before. But when I question it, it is not their problem. I tried to fight the payment, but eventually give in and pay the bill through their collection company, Apex...or so I thought. Slowly, over the years, all of the doctors I knew there, except one NP, left. A few months ago, when I brought up some symptoms of peri menopause during my annual visit, I was handed a 20 page pack of photocopies of herbal supplements without a single explanation, sent for blood tests, never given a follow up call or appointment, and sent a bill. I was left to fend for myself without any directions, help or instructions. The only thing I was given was a bill for a $20 copay. Shame on me for bringing up a problem during an annual visit. Not that the problem was actually addressed. So, I have decided to leave the practice for one that treats me like my health actually matters and not like I am just some billable patient number. And when I tell this to the nurse at my most recent final visit to remove my IUD, all of a sudden I have a complication with the IUD removal requiring a complicated procedure, and now the billing department cares about an unpaid mammogram bill from 3 years ago (which I believe I paid). They tried to settled it with my insurance and they said that the claim is too old now to process it, but had they tried to process it back then with an appeal, it may have been paid. They even said, "but you received a payment from your insurance for out of network coverage." That payment was $71. Three days before my scheduled procedure, they come to me to pay the bill, THREATENING that my now complicated procedure will not happen unless I pay the balance, which I believe that I have paid. I found the proof of payment in my email, call their collection company, only to find out that their system bills for 2 different practices, and that the payment I thought I made back then, was applied to a different practice, and all this time, they haven't tried to collect on this bill. I run a business, and I understand how A/R and collections can be the worst part of maintaining a healthy bottom line. But every part of this situation was handled improperly. Not once during this process was I seen or treated like a human. Could I pay this bill? Absolutely. Should I have ever had to? No. Mammograms are a covered test. I should have never been told to have it at their location and that it would be covered by my insurance. They should have made sure of that before making such a claim and they should have stood by their claim when I received a bill in error. Their billing department should have filed an appeal to my insurance in a timely manner to make sure that it was properly covered. When I came for my annual visit and asked a question about symptoms I was having, I should have been given the time of day, not a stack of photocopies. I should have received a followup call after my blood test results came in. At the very least, I should have been given REAL advice and HELP. All of this is enough to give the practice a 1 star review. What I find most distasteful is how they are using a necessary procedure as means to collect on a bill I should never had had to pay in the first place. Now I am seeking a second opinion on whether I actually need this procedure at all, or if it is just their way of trying to milk additional charges out of me before I go. What a terrible way to feel about someone you are supposed to be able to trust, and a practice I trusted for so long.

Do not entrust your health to this practice. The physicians are very inexperienced with mediocre…read moreclinical skills and judgement. I was told I needed to get an IUD removed that I'd had for over 10 years, and that I should get an ultrasound to make sure I still had it, which I did. I then made an appointment to get the IUD removed. When I arrived for the appointment, the doctor told me, "you know, you really don't need to get the IUD taken out." WHAT? Then why did I get the ultrasound and what was I doing there that day? They had wasted my time and money and displayed bizarre clinical judgement. That same physician is now their HRT expert, even though she has no certification to back up her expertise. But she is not an anomally--I have seen other physicians there and they all have poor judgement and have been trained to maximize company profits. On a recent well visit with a different doctor, the doctor asked, "how are you doing?" I honestly answered that I thought I might be getting a yeast infection. "Do you want me to check that?" She asked. sure, I said. Had I not been at the doctor, I would have waited a week or two and then purchased a $20 OTC treatment if I still felt something was wrong, but as long as she was offering it seemed to make sense. What the doctor did not tell me was that checking to see if I had an infection was beyond the scope of a well visit, and that she would be charging me for a separate problem visit requiring a $50 copay at the same time I was getting my well free well visit, and that the tests for checking on this nonexistent yeast infection cost $500! This is both unscrupulous and unethical, but standard practice for Cherry Hill OB/Gyn. I have since switched to another practice.

I was told it was very normal for my age. I asked for a Transvaginal ultrasound and was told they normally don't do those. Finally she agreed to write the script. I was made to feel like I was being an alarmist. I left in tears. I eventually got the ultrasound done. I found out in my patient portal that I do have a polyp and fibroids.... A week later and they still haven't called with results. I'm just floored.

ALL of the doctors that I have seen here are thorough and LISTEN to what I have to say. Dr. Colella delivered my son in 2004, via C-section (his suggestion - THANK GOD! - b/c my son was a "beef!" and Im relatively small). Tremendous call, as is his "bed side manner." Whenever I call and leave a voice mail on the nurse line, my call is promptly returned. The U/S technician, Patricia, was FANTASTIC. Polite, informative, kind, and gave the most gentle exam (of this sh*tty type of one). The office recently was remodeled and lives up to the standard of their fantastic MEDICAL staff. The office staff .... not so much! Too bad you have no clue which staff member to go to with their confusing front desk area. Talk about a deer caught in the headlights! THE FRONT DESK STAFF ruins my Yelp rating. They are AWFUL - like cackling hens! They openly discuss their personal lives, how much longer until they go home and food (on this particular visit anyway). The woman who checked me in recently inquired about a past-due bill that I paid LAST SUMMER and was arguing with me about it in front of EVERYONE there! W T H ?!!!! Super unprofessional! (in my younger days, I would have been embarrassed as all get out!). I blasted her and told her that I took care of the bill last year (she asked how I paid - how in Hades am I supposed to remember that one?!!! - what a such-and-such!) before I could even make an appointment and that I was upset already about the ultrasound & biopsy that I had to get and that she was "making me even more upset," which was very true. After the "sheep" all looked at each other, one said, "I'll print you the information and you can get it on your way out, and you can call about your bill." I have yet to open the envelope. If the doctors here weren't stellar, I would not reccommend GS OB/GYN to anyone because the front desk staff (IDK if ALL of the employees stink). I feel sorry for new patients. Their first impression of the practice must be really bad. What a pity!
