This is an absolute hidden gem. The eclectic surroundings - a touch of Gaudi. The menu is large enough to cater for all tastes, and small enough to know that NOTHING is "boil in the bag". Every part of the menu has been thought about, and worked around 'in' season and fresh ingredients, meat/fish/vegetables/fruit.
The "waiting" staff are great. When they run up and down stairs to make sure a group have their meals around football matches - you can't beat that with a stick. For a normal group of 4 (which we were) the staff were the best I've seen outside of Venice! Anyone who has eaten in Venice will know what I mean.
The wine list is varied and not a rip-off.
