The service was quick and friendly and the menu offered a decent range of food. My husband had a rib eye steak which he enjoyed. I ordered the classic platter which was ginormous. It consisted of a mini fish n chips, sausages, garlic mushroom slice, garlic bread, chicken wings, and salad. To be honest it was enough for two people to share. The decor was lovely inside, nice furniture and decorations and they had restored it very well. The hotel is stunning with old wooden beams, and a black n white striped exterior typical for it's era.

You've been looking around all the nice shops and visited a few of the sights, and now you feel like a nice relaxing drink to unwind. You could do a LOT worse than visiting the Diglis House Hotel. Just a few minutes walk from the town centre, and with a lovely long beer garden, set right on the bank of the river severn, there are very few places that offer such a pleasant way to while away an hour or so. The beer is great. The food is lovely (if a little pricey in some areas) and the atmosphere is fantastic - you won't find any drunken louts at The Diglis, just a good crowd of people. Dogs are welcome and water bowls are available should you decide to bring Fido along with you. There is also free WiFi access, although you may struggle to get online if you're sat towards the far end of the beer garden. All in all, a fantastic place for a pint (or two, or three)..!

They are NABAS registered and know all the tricks to ensure that your balloons stay floating high for days after your event - some of the non NABAS affiliated balloon decorators will not treat the balloons, and so you are left with a sagging display after a couple of hours. The prices are so reasonable, and often Sharon and Andy are able to help with last minute jobs. If they possibly can help, then they definitely will. They have provided balloons for a number of events for me - including my birthday party, and I have never been disappointed yet.

Fay was always patient with my numerous questions and the results were just incredible.
