A lovely small local bakery located on the High Street, Lee on the Solent with bread baked freshly on site. Staff are friendly, helpful, cheerful and ready to have a few words. During the winter it is visited mainly by locals but during the Summer months when tourists visit it can be very busy.
Suppliers of a wide range of breads, from french stick, small loaves white and brown, buns and rolls. They also can supply some good grade and flavoured flour for those of you who prefer to make their own bread mix.
Cakes are on offer in store from gingerbread, to cream buns (I would recommend the Yum Yums - iced doughnut style cakes). Also selling pizza slices, quiche, pasty's and pies, and makers of sandwiches (either pre-made or they will offer to make you a sandwich on site if your choice is not available).
Well worth a visit whether for a loaf of bread or lunch! read more
