Lots of true antique or vintage items here - WWII paraphernalia, simplicity patterns, Life Magazines, board games - like a stroll down memory lane. Loved the uniques vendor booths, and there are a couple of separate rooms near the front. I bought some vintage earrings. No public restroom and we had to pay for parking (only $2) near this store but we also visited the transportation museum one block over. We would definitely stop back when in the area. read more

Wonderful store, but closed in April 2023. We will miss stopping here on our way to Myrtle Beach.

I'll start by saying there's nothing wrong with the establishment itself. There are tons of interesting finds and really cool pieces that could very well be rare. My issue is, on my second ever visit of here, I overheard some pretty nasty things that both the cashier lady and a seller who had a booth there, were gossiping and sneering about to two customers who seemed wildly uncomfortable. One even goes so far as to defend the victim of their gossip. From my understanding, someone had come in and shopped around before noticing they had lost their ring, which must have meant a great deal to them if they reacted the way that they did. Both the seller and the cashier make comments over and over about how this person was "spazzing out" or how they must have been "ADD" or "Autistic" because they were frantic about losing their ring. Now if there is one thing I think everyone can agree on, It's that making jokes or jabs at people who are mentally, physically, or emotionally handicapped should not ever be in someone's sales talk. As someone who has been both a retail associate and a manager I know if I had overheard this kind of talk in my own establishment, that person would not have been returning for work. To call someone "autistic" for expressing large feelings or emotions, especially when someone has seemingly lost something that could have been important to them, is disgusting to put it nicely. To do it when that person isn't even there to explain or defend themselves is even worse. Liz I believe is her name, but I never caught the sellers. Regardless, it's highly unlikely I'll be returning. And if anyone you know, love, or care about, or yourself, has a mental disability or any disability at all, I'd suggest going to another Antique Shop. When I started this place 20 years ago, there were no vintage malls in Fayetteville. Now, 20 years later there are several and we are the oldest ( and we like to think the best) with a number of new great vendors and several who have been with us since the start. It's like going through someone's really cool old attic, but with price tags! It's located in Historic Downtown Fayetteville -a wonderfully cool place to walk around in. There are bunches of cool little shops full of neat things you won't see elsewhere-and run by moms and pops - Just like the vendors at the Cotton Exchange( a real 125 year old Cotton warehouse. ,and it's sister store( right next door) the Livery. Do you know what a livery was? Well, before everyone had cars, people needed a place to "Park" their horses and/or mules. That's when the livery stable came into play- this cool little place was the last one standing. Both if these 100 + year old buildings are cool just to walk through- and then you see all the "stuff" that the Vendors have collected for your viewing pleasure( and hopefully purchase). This is a very small store. I do not like the label Antique store when the majority of the items are from the 1980's and up. There is really very few antiques. There are records, magazines, books, kitchen and a lot of collectables. I would say that close to half the items in here came from the Salvation Army Thrift Store. I have purchased 2 things here and both were a good value. A lot of things do not have a price tag. That just irks me to no end. I hate going up to the counter asking how much and the waiting for the vendor to call back. read more

Great store! Large antique store in a historic building with easy parking. Booths by separate vendors so each booth has a unique vibe, easy to purchase at a single checkout counter. Great selection of antiques, furniture, vintage items, home decor, gifts, repurposed items, refinished or painted furniture, etc. Always changing inventory, friendly and helpful staff. The Livery is right across the parking lot too, a second historic building also full of great items! read more

This place has almost every antique and nik nak you could ever be looking for! I spent hours walking around all the stalls inside and all the vendors were there to assist me with knowledge of the antiques. They really know their stuff too! This is a definite must return place to visit. read more
