The first restaurant I ate at in Ireland- the staff is INCREDIBLY friendly, welcoming, and hospitable. Our server gave us great advice as to what to eat.
We came without a reservation, on the recommendation of a local who was working the desk of a museum in downtown Waterford.
The seafood chowder is a huge portion- I was truthfully full after eating it. It had huge chunks of haddock, and is extremely flavorful.
The bangers and mash is also a huge portion. You can safely split an entree unless you are starving, after having an appetizer. My family had the Guinness Pie, which was also extremely tasty.
Overall would highly recommend it you are in the Waterford area, the staff and vibe are very chill, and it seems to have a local audience who regularly visits. read more
