I didn't make it in to it but my friends I was meeting were in the beer garden out back beforehand which is a nice additional touch. On tap there were 5 Robbies classics (we tried the Citra - ok but not quite enough citra in it for my liking and compared with the likes of Oakham ales same type) and there's 5 guest beers on tap from exciting craft beer breweries. Sandwiched in between there's still room for all the usual lagers and they have Brooklyn and Blue Moon on tap. Prices are fairly decent really (compared to Manchester city centre) and its refreshing to see the pricing reflected in the strength of the ale and fairly transparent in what you're actually paying when ordering a beer. We were drinking the Great Heck hoppy wheat beer mainly - if you see it on tap somewhere then make sure you get yourself onto it, so so good! The friendly staff also serve delicious food. A little known fact (outside of Stockport of course) is that Stockport County FC were formed at the Nursery Inn in 1883. At that time they were known as Heaton Norris Rovers - its worth a visit just for that!
