After reading the review regarding the 9th birthday cupcakes i had every faith in ordering them for my daughters 6th birthday. I asked for girly and looking at the pictures on the website was confident that I would get very modern, high class, chic cupcakes, sadly this was not the case. I asked for girly and some of the cupcake cases were blue !! so could not use them in my display. The images on the site were of lovely peaked looking icing..mine was flat and uneven. The toppers which I paid extra for were 1 very small chocolate heart on the top of some and the others were a twee dr oetker rice paper flower ( which were yellow and white ?? girly to me = lashings of pink ), nothing like the modern fresh looking cupcakes on the site where the flowers were beautiful and the hearts were lovely big striking pink ones. I was bitterly dissapointed as i thought they would be really girly looking but to me they looked very boring and old fashioned. The sponge was also very dense making the cakes very stodgy. All in all I was extremely disappointed. After reading the reviews up to when I ordered were extremely positive and I was kicking myself for not getting more Groupon vouchers, however I am very glad that I never got any more. I really felt confident that leaving the design in the cupcake parlours hands ( thought they would be the experts ) giving them a theme of hearts and flowers and by going on the beautiful pictures on the website I would get some truly gorgeous cupcakes. Instead, sadly not only I, but a 6 year old were very let down. Another negative point is that they are closed on a Saturday and when do a majority of people have parties ?? It is a shame that I actually have to give at least one star rating as the ones I received compared to the website pictures didn't even deserve that. read more

I received my cupcakes last Friday on time as promised but noticed they were chocolate and not the Vanilla as ordered and sent a email straightaway thanking them for delivery but saying I suspected they were chocolate. I had ordered them for my daughters birthday on Saturday and on Saturday we tried a cake discovered they were chocolate I then rang and left a voicemail. I don't mind chocolate cake but the rest of the family don't like chocolate. The cake was dry and not very good as another person who has written a review I had paid extra for decoration which was ok. Today I have sent another email saying how disappointed I was that nobody had sent a return email or tried to contact me and requested a refund. I thought the cupcakes would have been a nice change from a birthday cake and ended going to the supermarket. If I get a refund I will post a further comment at a later date but I won't hold my breath. I am intending on sending Groupon an email. read more

I ordered a dozen cupcakes using a groupon order for a MacMillan Coffee Morning i was holding in our office. I got 12 green and white cupcakes that they coulour coordinated for me and tasted lovely. The icing was slightly flatter than the images on the website, but still tasted lovely, and they had all gone by 11am. I know i rasied far more for them than the £7 I paid. I have a seocnd order placed for my boys 5th Birthday next month. I've not placed any special requests, just asked for no pink. Hopefully these will be to the same great standard. 1 star deducted for slightly flat icing!! read more

The cupcake parlour in Liverpool are a disgrace. I ordered via the groupon voucher like other reviews and experienced the same problems. Two orders placed and two disappointed family members when the cupcakes did not turn up. It is obvious the cupcake parlour do not care about their customers. Please warn all your family and friends so family celebrations do not get spoilt. They are a disgrace to Liverpool and should be renamed the cowboy cupcake parlour who never honour orders and dont give a damn about there customers! read more

I recently ordered 24 cup cakes for my daughters 9 birthday, i asked for them to be super extra girly, but couldnt really think of my own idea. The lady on the phone was extremly helpful and told me about their wide variety and helped me come to a decision. I payed alittle extra for them to be gift wrapped and i must say they were well worth the small expence as they looked and tasted outstanding, they certainly made an impact. I would definately advise anybody who was looking for cupcakes to give them a call. read more

mmmm well sorry but something seems to have gone wrong since the early reviews on here. I've ordered cupcakes via email and left a voice mail. Since then I've had one email asking when I wanted deliivery, I responsed and paid for delivery, only to recieve no item. If there is an issue, i.e staffing issues etc, cupcake parlour would find themselves in a better position and gain the understanding of customers if they were upfront about it instead of disapointing people. read more

The cupcake parlour is hands down the best company to purchase cupcakes not only because of how utterly scrumptious they are but also the service they provide is second to none, they cater to your every specification and nothing is an inconvenience. i have tried to place an order using my Groupon Voucher since 21st August. Thier phone is turned off and only recently have placed a notice on the web page to say they will be open again from 5th September. Ordered cakes for a party however on the day, cakes did not arrive. Contacted many times and no apology given or refund offered. Really bad service. Would not recommend or use again!!! read more
