I sent my grandson with his grandfather for a haircut with Jessica after I googled expert children's haircuts & cutting edge salon popped up. Google was absolutely correct. my grandson came home with a gorgeous professional cut which prompted me to bring my granddaughter in for a cut as well. My granddaughter went from unshaped, unattractive flat hair to gorgeous, attractive full hair in no time. Thank you Jessica! You have gifted hands girlfriend!! read more

The shop has a traditional chair and traditional waiting chairs for walk ins. Dean cut my hair fine in the end. It was a bit crooked in front, but he straightened it out. Overall, it is a fine cut. VIP is a nice salon that does a good job of keeping the flow of customers moving. Although they do take walk-ins, best only to try that at non-peak hours. They even have Sunday appointments, but that's definitely an appointment only day. The ceiling lights are covered with screens that make it look like a sunny day with the cumulus clouds and a few stray butterflies on wire dangling in a couple of places. The window on the side have a screen with a beach scene. Both of these things lend VIP toward the sit-and-relax atmosphere. There are several different levels of manicures and pedicures available, depending on how far into the spa style you want to go. They're a nice group of people, will talk or not depending on you, but I've noticed a lean more towards the "no talk" during pedicures, but "let's chat" during manicures. Shellac and regular polish is available depending on how long you want the polish to last. They also offer some "natural" products as part of the mani or pedi.

The technician who happens to be the manager accommodated me quickly. She was wearing "Reflective Cats Eye" polish which caught my eye and asked if she could try it on me. I said of course. I wear a clear top coat with the exception of my ring finger on each hand usually a "sparkle" color. OH MY, I absolutely love it. The service was excellent, the music was country (at the time) and the cost is comparable to what I pay in Texas. It's a great place without all the loud noises some salons have. Check them out if you want a really good manicure or pedicure, they are fabulous!

At check out it was much higher than I was quoted. Even though, it was the only services I called about. Which was about $65+. Not even a day later, several nails were chipping and peeling. 1 week later, I have 4 nails that are chipped and peeling. These are acrylics doing this. All I wanted was white nails and glitter. I did not get the extra add ons. I believe they are mistaken who they are talking about. Nobody has reached out to me to offer anything.
