My friend and I never took a hip-hop dance class before, but we were able to pick up the moves because the instructor was clear and confident. He took everything step by step, and kindly re-explained things we didn't pick up the first time. At the end, the whole class ran through the choreo together several times to make sure we got the moves down. Everyone is super supportive and I loved the energy in the room. Overall, great experience and I can't wait to come back for more!

When I first arrive, I see several rooms full of young ballerinas practicing. If only I do stand on my tippy-toes... But I digress. The academy is brightly-lit, clean, and modern. The studios have wood floors that are easy to dance on and the huge windows are a lovely touch (even if your view is only of the parking lot). Bathrooms are also tidy and for those who left their water bottles at home--don't worry, be happy. And get a mouthful of water at the fountain. Overall, happy to have my classes here. And oh, huge parking lot. During our evening classes, there are plenty of spaces for your picking.

I will admit the annoying part here was paying 20 a person, per class, and coming with my own partner, but having to dance half the time with another partner. For that reason I'll probably do a private session. Though I get the intent to help everyone that comes, that super annoying. But the instructors are patient and easy to understand and in each class you learn 4-6 moves. Also, it's a bit weird when they have two classes going on in one studio. Makes it hard with limited space but big classes. Parking is fine. Once you leave the parking lot, you walk through a hallway, and the studio is around the back(or you can just park in the back and walk up the stairs).
