The room itself is dated, with the cheapest room furniture and carpet that needed to be replaced 10 years ago. However, the host Andrew is so friendly! The continental breakfast was pretty good as well, with a few cereal choices/ coffee + tea + juices/ toasts + cheese + salami / fruits. Negative: There were only a few parking spots on the premise so we had to park our car in a lot down the slope (quite a hike up back to the hotel!)

The gnocchi was bang on and a generous serve and the mussels were awesome, although nowhere near as good on my second visit. Malcolm, Bernti's host with the most, suggested we dine upstairs after enjoying a pre-dinner drink in their bar. A Thredbo icon and a good feed. Not overly expensive, standard Thredbo pricing!!
