Marley had a very bad experience with his previous groomer and was very nervous of having his hair cut but from his first visit to Auntie Rowena all was just fine, he grumbled at her a little but when he realised she wasn't going to hurt him he soon calmed down and since then he is more than happy to pay her a visit. The prices are good in my opinion as I have not really noticed that much of a difference in price compared to small independent pet stores. The staff are very helpful and clearly care about the animals which is great. They even allow you to take your pet into the store - so you can pop in when you are walking rover and get him a treat :)

I would not recommend this practice…read more They saw my dog on two occasions and completely missed the problem after prodding, probing and second opinions. I had no confidence in them at all. I took him to another practice and he was diagnosed in s30 econds and had major surgery the next morning. I will never set foot in the place again You also are greeted at the surgery by a not very friendly receptionist with long, painted nails who seemed to be more interested in mopping the floor, selling goods from the shop and answering the phone than anything else!!!! An all round nasty experience!!!! Our animals deserve better. A one star rating is one star too many

We searched the internet for the RSPCA or RSPB but found nothing within 50 miles of our home.We found a phone number for Kirks Vets in Sleaford and decided to give them a call. The lady asked if we could bring the bird down to her to have a look at.We went down after 10 p.m. but sadly the bird was too damaged to be helped.The vet offered to put the bird to sleep free of charge and thanked us for being bothered to try to save it.It is good to know that there are people out there who are so willing to help in situations like this.Many thanks to Kirks Vets for a superb and caring service.
