From the first interaction with Nicola in the office (super efficient quote) to the last item delivered by the A-team (the awesome Alan and amazing Arthur), the Dixonline were a pleasure to deal with. Moving is always more stressful than you anticipate but the crew at the Dixonline will ensure everything goes smoothly. Removal day was an unusually hot one and space in the truck was at a premium but the contents of my home were assessed thoroughly and thoughtfully; every item was handled with the greatest care - including the tricky furniture and way more boxes of books than I had imagined. I had great peace of mind knowing my belongings were in such safe hands. Everything was indeed delivered safely, and unloaded in no time. We have moved house 3 times in the last 5 years and each time have used the Dixon Line as our removals company. The guys who work for Dixons are all cheerful, helpful and know exactly what they are doing. They seem to be able to fit furniture through doors which are clearly too small and can move things so quickly you'll wonder where they've gone. They are also politely grateful for any drinks or snacks you offer them, unlike some guys who almost expect a 3 course meal at lunchtime. Nothing has ever been broken or lost and they will patiently move furniture again if you change your mind about which room to put it in. The last time we moved, we were going to stay with relatives. Some of our stuff was going into storage, some to the new unfinished house and some to our temporary accommodation. After humping boxes about all day, we realised that we had no room in our temporary home for some of the kid's bigger toys. Even though it was 9pm, they kindly repacked it and delivered it to our new house. Dixon Line I salute you. On one of our moves we also used the Dixon storage facility and we also got a great service there too. Having used a smaller storage company before and got someone else's furniture and not all of my clothes back, I am delighted to say that everything was returned exactly on time and all in one piece. read more

I would highly recommend The Dixon Line having used them for my last move and been very satisfied with the level of service I received. They were helpful, friendly, efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Their standards of service are very high, a rarity nowadays. They took all the stress out of moving for me.
