Yes, It was a take-off on a chicken fried steak. Fully battered, fried and served with country gravy. So insane that I HAD to try it. I ordered a burger here so I feel like maybe I am not qualified for this review LOL. We were picking up a usual and decided to stop in for a quick lunch. The cashier was friendly and told us about the dog/hamburger situation since we'd never been there. Apparently every dog can be made in to a burger. I had the "Pop It Like It's Hot" dog and the fried jalapeño on it was not overpowering. Hilary, from Dogfather II, recommended it and it was great. She knew her products well and glad I asked her opinion. The hotdog tasted good. None of the toppings overpowered one another so you can really get that burst of different flavors. If I can make a suggestion, it would be to split the dog down the middle and stuff the toppings into the dog to prevent everything falling off as you take a bite. Other than that it was delicious! It was clean, and that's very important to me. The food...ughh I wanted a chili dog. Their chili has beans, so that was a no. Sad to see the sign on the door that this location is permanently closed. It said they did not renew the lease because they're stretched thin with both locations and want to focus on the San Pedro store. Curly fries with cheese and chili and we are not disappointed at all.. The food has tremendous flavor. And the workers here actually enjoy their job and have smiles.
