TikTok brought me here. I was a curious about their happy hour which is a daily thing. If you don't feel like cooking during the week and want something to drink while you eat this is the place. I came on a Monday and sat at the bar. It was pretty packed but I was able to get serviced. I ordered a happy hour drink and the Cajun pasta. Everything came out fast and the pasta was delicious. I didn't try the hookah but it looks good too. I would def come here for happy hour alone.
stopped by The Domain Restaurant & Lounge for their Brunch & Bingo to celebrate Rahaim's birthday. Light crowd today -- perfect for me because I was not in the mood to bob-and-weave through a packed brunch circus. They've got nice drink specials (shoutout to the $7 Lemon Drops), so points for that. I ordered the shrimp and grits, and... listen, I'm giving it a solid 7/10. The grits came out thick and a little under-seasoned, and the temperature was "almost hot" instead of actually hot. That alone will turn grits into concrete real quick. The shrimp were okay -- you get five medium ones, but the inconsistent tails (some on, some off) had me wondering what vibe the chef intended. Bingo was fun in theory, but the caller was flying through numbers like he had somewhere else to be -- calling each one once, fast, and over the music. I felt like I was taking the STAAR test with no accommodations. They gave us Bingo cards but nothing to mark with until we asked, then handed us crayons. Cute, but it added to the chaos of trying to keep up. Our server was the bright spot -- attentive, friendly, great energy. Just be aware they automatically add an 18% service charge, no matter your party size. There were only five of us, so that was a surprise. Overall, I had a great time with friends, but if we're talking about me coming here solo? Probably not. If someone invites me out to an event here, though? I'd roll through.
Meh, this is a place as soon as you walk in you already know gratitity is going to be added. The music is loud and muffled. A few scantily dress girls and black tights and black shorts everywhere. They have plenty of TV's and we promptly sat at the bar. This place has a decent happy hour 7$ you call its but that's liquor and a chaser. They charge extra for specialty drinks. The service is mid, you have to get their attention but they do serve you. I ordered a lemon drop which was more sour then liquor. I then ordered just a crown and cranberry which was ok, again more cranberry than liquor. The oxtail sliders were good and fresh and the wings were also hot and fresh. I came about 6 and left at 8. Once I heard the music turn up and ayyyeeee and everybody started rapping with the song that was my que. Overall, its cool another typical Houston spot but with good food and subpar service.
So my boyfriend picked this spot for Taco Tuesday, and from the moment we pulled up, I already had a bad feeling. There was a guy standing right at the entrance smoking a cigarette... with a gun on his hip. It looked more like a trap house than a taco spot. As we walked up, he searched my boyfriend but told me I could go in without being checked, which honestly made me feel even more uneasy. What kind of place is this? When we got inside, there was no host at the front. After standing there awkwardly, someone finally asked if we wanted to sit at a high-top or behind the bar. We chose to sit behind the bar. She told us to scan the QR code for the menu--okay, fine. My boyfriend ordered six tacos (three chicken, three shrimp) since it was BOGO. I asked for a strawberry lemonade because I was sick and not in the mood for alcohol. The drink came out in a plastic cup and tasted like straight syrup--disgusting. I had to add water just to make it drinkable. But the worst part? We got there at 8:00 PM. We didn't get our food until 9:05 PM. Over an hour. And there weren't even many people in there. Just one guy doing some kind of food vlog like he was hyping the place up. I had also ordered egg rolls, but since the tacos were taking forever, I told the server to cancel that part. She begged us not to leave and said the food was already being plated. I told my boyfriend I'd give them 4 more minutes max. Finally, the tacos came. He took a bite and said they were "okay," so I gave them a shot. The chicken tasted like those bland frozen chunks straight out the grocery store--absolutely no seasoning. Then I tried the shrimp. It was just corn, cheese, and defrosted shrimp thrown in a tortilla. No flavor. No effort. This place is all hype and no delivery. The vibe was off, the service was slow, and the food? Completely unimpressive. I wouldn't come back here if they paid me. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Don't waste your time or your money.
Great service, an awesome ambiance, and absolutely amazing food--Nini truly made the experience unforgettable. 10/10
I went to their Saturday happy hour solo and had a great time. The vibes, music, food, and drinks were all on point. I tried the shrimp and chicken tacos (definitely recommend the chicken), both were cheesy and delicious. The wings (garlic parm and hot) were tasty, and the lemon drop was on fire! I wouldn't recommend the "you call it" special though, as I didn't get Hennessy (not sure what they served). The crowd was mostly late 20s-30s, and the DJ played great tunes for the vibe. I sat at the bar, and service was quick and friendly, no complaints at all!
I haven't been here in a longgggg time. Many moons ago, they use to have karaoke. My friend and I went on a Friday night around 7:30pm. There is a parking lot with free parking which is nice. At the time we got there (7:30), there wasn't a lot of people. However, there is a photographer available taking pictures and prints/frames them for purchase. There is a Friday Happy Hour from 5p-10p I believe. Pretty good options for drinks and food. I got the lamb chops dinner with asparagus and dirty rice. It was yummy. My friend got the shrimp Cajun pasta-it was spicy but good. Our server was cute and funny. I'll be back again to try other things. 3 stars because the music is really loud TO ME.
Pretty cool spot for a younger crowd lol I'm only 32 but it seems like a place for 21+ up with their parents. I had a good time - nice vibe, good wings, the drinks were good too. The Hunn Dunn is their popular drink (includes Crown Apple) but it was good!!! Table Server was very nice , gotta come back again
So I tried this place for the first time yesterday. Def a nice and big enough space but for a Taco Tuesday they missed the mark greatly. Between the huge plates with the littlest tacos and the $2 shots in plastic cups it was just not hittting . The tacos were literally the meat and the cheese . Now don't get me wrong it was not nasty at all but was not giving what a taco should've gave . No garnish no onions no cilantro just the meat and cheese on a grill with a sauce on top. They need someone with a real vision to get that place where it needs to be .

Chicken wings are elite, they have a Cajun pasta that's loaded with chicken, and the lamb chops are fire. Food was so good me and my homeboy was arguing over who gets the first bite. Staff kept the energy up and one of our favorite spots to kick it at. Place is rocking and we had so much fun here. We will definitely be back. read more

The food and music was really good. The shrimp tacos with cheese is a 10/10 The music is a 10/10 I did come at right at 5:00 and it was going a little slow but after like 5 minutes you started getting our drinks and water. read more

Met a few friends last Friday night for a girls night out. Arrived around 9PM and there ewe plenty of parking (free) in the lot. There was plenty of seating in the section booths or at tables. We were only there for a couple of hours so we were able to sit the whole time but I'm not sure if you have to leave the sections when it gets later and people start wanting bottle service. They played mostly hip-hip/r&b and around 11 I started hewring down afrobeats . We ordered a hookah and man oh man it was really strong! Not so much harsh but strong where you get a little lightheaded after a few puffs. I believe we paid $40 and the hookah man did a good job if refilling our coal without us having to ask. Our waitress' name was Key (I believe). She was very sweet and very attentive with us. They had $6 premiums until 11PM so I ordered a couple of rounds of crown and coke and they were nice and strong. For my food I orders the honey sriracha and garlic Parmesan wings with the truffle fries and it was fire!! I mean all of it was fire!! Highly recommend! The only downside I would say was that we were charged the appetizer price for the fries after originally being told that the truffle fries would be an "up charge of a couple of dollars". So keep that in mind if you're ordering the wings, they don't come with fries. You'll have to pay for a side. Overall I really enjoyed the vibes and the ambiance, it was very chill and laid back but you could also dance and have fun too. Highly recommend for happy hour or night out with friends. read more

I sometimes do side streets and I sometimes Do Main. I'm not crazy about the food here, but the nightlife is fun and they keep the beat going a long time into the night and bring a lot of joy to a very Middle Eastern neighbourhood, so a lot of fun and hookups and DJs and what not. So definitely not my scene in many ways but definitely great for the community. read more

Let me start by saying this spot COULD be great... b Came to the domain for the first time as it was a spot open late on a Tuesday. My friends had just arrived in town after a long road trip & wanted good vibes good food and a strong drink. While I wish I could say everything was top tier... All we got here was slow service, and attitude from one of their staff members. The food was decent, but was plated like it was dumped out of an air fryer. Bring literally one of two groups in the restaurant's, the service was way too slow. It took 20 min(after the closed) to get our check , and rudely one of the staff members wearing a tshirt and spandex shorts loudly told another staff member "how long are they going to sit here with the lights on? You would think they would leave" Honestly never coming back. Our server was cute and nice enough, her moving so slow just ended up causing us to get rudely talked about. read more
