I was on a hunt for blueberry donuts and this spot had them! I was able to get the last two, as buttermilk donut and as a raised donut with blueberry frosting. Both were delicious! I've had them from Danny's Donuts but wanted to try somewhere else. I'm surprised more donut shops aren't offering this flavor. Donuts are 1/2 price after 3:00p.m! The customer service here has always been polite bordering on fantastic. On my most recent visit the person serving me tossed in a few free donut holes and a pastry!! He also made sure to let us know that the donuts were half price in the afternoon. The donuts themselves are delicious but the pastry isn't the best I've had. It was better than the one I bought at Ralphs grocery store though, so props and the cheesier parts were actually rather spectacular. The chocolate cake donuts are moist and tender and gently chocolate-y. The raised glazed were soft and yeasty and sweet. (Yes even at 4:30pm) Over all, I'd recommend them and get them for friends again. My friends loved them and literally danced in joy at the surprise. I decided to try a new doughnut place last week after reading all the rave reviews. My first impression was dang this place must be good, there's a line out the door. Literally. Other than that the place was pretty unremarkable, just a typical doughnut shop, but a pretty good selection for 10am on a Sunday. I picked a maple bar and then asked the girl behind the counter what her favorite was and she selected a round maple yeast-style doughnut, which I got too. I was a little surprised that the total was $2. Are doughnuts a buck each now? It seemed pricey compared to my normal shop. As for the doughnuts themselves, they were still warm when I got them- major points. I had the circle one first, but in my opinion it was too rich. It kind of tasted like a stick of butter. The maple bar was much better! Nice and fluffy and perfectly sweet. I'll definitely give this place another try but for a first impression I can't see what all the yelp-hype is about compared to any other doughnut shop. read more

Anyone who gives this less than 4 stars can't be pleased in general. Who cares what the place looks like, this isn't Krispy Kreme, it's a little mom and pop shop. Mom and pop stores/restaurants usually have the best food because they put love into what they make. This shop is no exception to the rule; the donuts are so fresh. I got a glazed twist and maple bar at 2 pm and they tasted freshly baked. Tip #1: try the blueberry cake donut. I thought it was a regular cake donut and was pleasantly surprised by the blueberry glaze when I bit into it. Maple bars are still my favorite and must be a fan favorite in general because they make so many. Tip #2: if you want to be able to pick from a big selection, get there before 10 am. Workers come and wipe out half of their inventory before 8 am. They still make fresh donuts after their rush, but not as many. Oh and expect the place to be pack between 5:30-7am. read more

I stumbled across a local favorite apparently. I was trying to kill time before Costco opened. GPS took me in the wrong direction and I ended up seeing a donut shop sign in the corner of a plaza. I went in and immediately knew this place was going to be good. I saw the variety of donuts and sandwiches they offered. However, I really just wanted a coffee. I went to check out their "ice blended drinks sign". It didn't seem like I was going to get Artisan coffee here. But oh I was so wrong. I looked on the other side of the counter to see some new industrial equipment for some coffee! I got the caramel latte blended 20 oz and a ham and cheese with jalapeño croissant. 10/10 AMAZING! I am shocked at all of these high reviews. Maybe these people got there when the place 1st opened in the early morning and donuts were still fresh, or else they just knew what to order vs. what to stay away from? I got there at 8:45am on a Saturday morning and ordered two donut holes, a cream filled chocolate glazed thing, and a french crueller. I have been to donut shops, much later than 8:45am, and everything still tasted fresh, so not sure what the deal is with this place. Anyway, the donut holes tasted like they were made the night before and sat out; sort of chewy/stale. The cream thing (looked) fresh, and maybe it was, but the cream stuff inside, tasted like whipped lard and sugar, vs. a good whipped cream or pudding type of filling. I could only get down 1/2. By the time I moved onto the french crueller, there was such a thick layer of grease covering the roof of my mouth, that I could not then tell if the french crueller was all that good. Crazy how high these reviews are!! Plus, this place actually had a line out the door!!! Maybe it's the only donut place in the area or something. I don't know because I don't frequent this area. They did have a little girl (probably around 12 years old) helping me last time I came in and she didn't seem like she know what she was doing, but it was fine...
