Strictly speaking, the Dorset Sweet company are a wholesaler, and don't sell directly to the public, but they are brand you may come across from time to time.
They are best known for their high quality hand-made fudge, which comes in a dizzying array of styles and flavours: some even have Smarties, chocolate chips and and other sweets embedded in them.
The fudge itself is a little on the sweet side for me, but still manages to be very moreish. I'd recommend some of their classic flavours: chocolate and orange fudge comes essentially as two fudges joined together: the orange is intensely orangey, and the chocolate very chocolatey.
The main downer is the price: expect to pay £3.50 or so for 140g. Then again, it's so rich you can only manage a small quantity at once. Maybe not one for the kids read more
