I loved the experience! I said YES to my dream dress and my wedding was so beautiful!

From the beginning the experience sucked. Months ago for our appointment, we were called the day of (30 minutes before) and asked if we could reschedule because staff was out - uhm no. Fast forward - WRONG DRESS delivered. With a slit instead of without. On the phone, Hannah the owner said she could comp the $500 in alterations (the dress was 1,300 + 500 in alterations, one of which was necessary to remove the lace that was also NOT supposed to be on the dress). Very difficult team to deal with. Not worth going here when they mess things up pertaining to the biggest day of your life. ** PS the owner is addressing me as the bride, but I did not sign anything therefor I am more than entitled to exercise my first amendment right and share my experience. Even though I was not the bride, I was still present when the tried to cancel our appointment last minute, and when the owner said she would comp a certain amount since the wrong dress was ordered/delivered, regardless of how that happened. read more

they tried really hard to find me the perfect dress at first it was very difficult. Nothing was my style, but then they really came through and found literally my perfect dress. The service there was impeccable. The quality of the dress is amazing. I recommend coming here. They really value their customers. read more

This is place is beyond amazing for any bride to be. My best friend is getting married and this was our second stop, and by far best service. The ladies listened to the whole wedding party and let us be involved. Made it such a special occasion for our friend and even helped pull dresses that we didn't think would be her style by looking at them on the rack. They went above and beyond with service. This place is a real gem! The Dress has a wide variety of off-the-rack and special order dresses to try on. I interacted with Hannah (the owner), and she was incredibly helpful/supportive. Prices for all dresses and accessories were very reasonable (Hannah informed me that all dresses are under $1500!) With a lot of nearby competing wedding dress shops, this one stands out with the personal assistance that you get from the store owner herself. She assisted me with putting on the dresses, as well as adding a veil for just the right touch. The owner of the store informed me that because I wasn't happy with my choices that I could go back and look at other options, because no refunds were available (which I understand). When I called to make an appointment to try on other dresses she claims this was never said and they can't honor that. They haven't ordered the dress yet because we have yet to pay in full. So there should be no reason why I can't spend the store credit on a different dress. Very disappointed in my experience and would not recommend. Poor customer service. read more

I bought my wedding dress from The Dress. I signed a 3 month consignment after my wedding in an attempt to resell. I called a week and a half prior to the expiration date. The owner explained it had not sold yet but they were booked with appointments, it was priced right & thought there'd be no problem in selling. Because of that, we discussed extending the contract for a month. Because I now haven't heard from them in a month, I reached back out to discuss if I should extend another month or just come pick up my dress. I spoke with an associate on Saturday and the owner has been dodging my calls all day. My husband called from his number. She sold my dress and won't give me the money we agreed on. The owner now says my contract expired. It's like our conversation never existed. The fact I was on top of things and called prior to the expiration date instead of right after didn't matter. My dress is gone. I handed it over to a deceitful and unethical business. Do NOT do business here and especially do NOT attempt to resell here. read more

Please be warned do not do business here. My wife bought her wedding gown her and was no issue with that. But the consignment resale of her dress was a different story. We signed the contract but the owner says some thing contrary to the contract and makes you think your ok but then doesn't remember things and says the contract was signed do we take ownership of your dress and sold it and we get nothing? I get it we signed the contract but unethical when owner says things differently. You think its ok when its the owner. Be warned and record phone conversations if you decide to go that route. No way I would ever recommend this place to anyone as long as she is the owner! read more

A few weeks back The Dress was having a sidewalk sale. My husband and I stopped to browse what they had on the rack, and I found a petticoat that was a size too small but I was considering altering it to be shorter anyway. It was only $5! So while my husband and I were talking about it, one of the stores associates, Aria, came out to talk with us. It was a very pleasant experience, and we ended up buying the petticoat. The store is beautiful, the staff very friendly. If you're getting married or going to a formal, I highly recommend you check this place out! read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't even begin to tell you how awful the owner has treated me. To start I had a good experience she helped me find my dress for my beach elopement. It was a corset back dress. The owner laced the back of it up when I tried the dress on in store. I loved it and purchased it. I picked my dress up two weeks before I left for my elopement. The dresses here are purchased as is. So one would think everything would be exactly the way you purchase it. To my disappointment I am in Florida and my fiancé is about to help me put my dress on for our wedding and we untie the ribbon for the corset that they have undone and tied up to the side. It was TORE to SHREDS right in the middle of the ribbon. I called the owner in tears upset over this. She tells me it's not her problem and I must have damaged after I left with it. She said I shouldn't have waited 15 mins before my wedding to look at it. If I purchase something from a business I expect what I purchased. Due to this incident we missed almost our entire ceremony time at sunset on the beach. It's irreplaceable. It's something I can't have back. To be treated like that on my wedding day is disgusting. For the owner to claim she loves making brides dreams come true is far from what I experienced. She didn't even offer a apology. To top it all off, I called this morning to talk to her. She has now changed her story claiming she told me the dress was damaged. Claiming she gave me $99 of because of it. If that were the case I would not have bought it or would have fixed it. My mother, sister and another family member were there and all said she never informed me of this. Clearly since her story has changed she knows she is at fault. I am heart broken over my experience here. To not only never apologize but to try and put blame on me is sad. I hope no other bride every experiences what I did. So thankful that I have such a loving now husband who helped fix it so I could at least get married in it. As for this business I will make sure to worn others not to do business here. read more
