I saw an acquaintance in some of Addison Rose's pics on FB & saw $9.99/unit Botox for May 5,2025. I inquired as to whether that applied for approx. 60 units to which the responder said it did. I made an appt & nobody was there. The person who identifies herself as the owner eventually showed up. A few minutes later, I was allegedly injected for my forehead, eyes, & lip flip. She didn't ask which product or tell me how much she had used & didn't tell me til after I paid that she allegedly used Daxxify. The total was $695.52 which was $672+$23.52 for a credit card convenience fee that I wasn't told about either. Days passed & I saw no difference in my eyes. They actually looked worse. She claimed she liked to "under treat" so I contacted her about getting more Botox in the eye area. I went back in for the 2nd visit where more Botox was injected in the eye area for a total of $190 cash to avoid the CC convenience fee for which I received no receipt but I do have a witness for an alleged 18 units w/4 of those "free." Days passed & NO results. I grew concerned & contacted my dermatologist who got me in immediately. She stated that this was why she didn't treat JUST the forehead as it causes drooping & a "neanderthal" like look. She was also under the impression that the only Botox in my eye area was from the very 1st time I'd ever got Botox which was in October 2024. Total for the eye area that I had paid Addison Rose to treat TWICE was another $224 thru my dermatologist. When I saw the messages Addison Rose had sent, she also claimed she didn't carry Dysport which I inquired about before I contacted my dermatologist. I asked for a refund of at least half which I felt was more than fair to which Addison Rose's "owner" Shemia Garner stated that they don't do refunds. EXCEPT RNs cannot own medspas in NC per the Corporate Practice of Medicine Doctrine. Only licensed doctors can. Also, upon searching the NC Board of Nursing, Ms. Garner is NOT WORKING UNDER A LICENSED PHYSICIAN, nor does she identify a Medical Director which is required per the NC CPOM. In NC, "a Medical spa cannot legally operate without a licensed physician having ownership or significant control. Further Google searches also show that this same person was the director of "Garner's House of Grace" where there was a lack of training among several employees, no care plans written, residents having their personal items taken & then arrested in what the NCDHHS report called a "substantiated" complaint.

I called to schedule filler consult for my under eyes and the receptionist ( I wish I could remember her name) was such a sweetheart! They were able to get me in fairly quickly! The downside is Dr. Summer. She came in and already had selected the filler we were going to use. She did not discuss why she chose that filler or anything about it. In her defense, I should've asked. But I was trusting in her. We move onto the procedure and she used the canula technique to minimize bruising however she jabbed it into my under eye, she said it was difficult to get it in bc I had thicker tissue in that area - which is not the reason it hurt. My new doctor has done my under eyes twice, both pain free. I get faint around needles sometimes so I was starting to feel faint and hot and I let her and the assistant know. The assistant was a brunette woman who was very kind and patient. She got me an ice pack and reclined me. However, Dr. Summers rushed me to recover. I was still hot and faint when I gave her the OK to proceed since she seemed to be in a hurry. This experience was traumatic. I was on the verge of crying between feeling faint, nauseous, and rushed by Dr. Summers. After the visit I enjoyed my under eye look! No more tired right? Well yeah no more tired but what about the blue and yellow bruising that never went away? My new doctor informed me my bruising never went away bc my under eye area was over filled and I should've used a filler that was less dense. My new doctor is Dr. Dulce Mascariñas and she dissolved the filler placed by Dr. Summers and a month later refilled my eyes with half a syringe and then finished the remaining product another month later. Thanks to her I finally look refreshed. I do not think Dr. summers is a bad doctor. Maybe she was having a bad day, we all do. However the care I received is NOT one I ever desire to have again. Always ask your Dr why and what filler they are going to use. And do not let them push you to recover from fainting. I've had a few cosmetic procedures and have never experienced anything like this.

I am currently at 223 and my goal was 225!!! I now have challenged myself to get to a solid 215 which was my academy weight. The doctors and staff here meet with me via zoom and in person on a regular basis. I weigh in every morning and document my eating habits. They keep me accountable but foremost co sided my health first. They truly care for you and provide the best advice and support during the process. Booking online was easy and their product description are detailed enough to make an informed decision based on your needs. After Booking you're sent confirmations and reminders a few days in advance and the day of. Upon arrival, I was greeted by "D" who is a paramedic by training. She was welcoming and hospitable. The " Drip Lounge" where the IV drips are administered have heated massage chairs and provides a "vibe"! There are blankets available and good music playing. It's for sure an experience. As someone who has had IVs and is a lifelong blood donor, I can for sure say that D did the BEST "stick" of my life. I literally didn't feel it. I opted for the Meyers Cocktail. It provides vitamins, electrolytes, and antioxidants. I felt a little bit of a pick-me-up about an hour after my appointment and into the next day. I plan to make another appointment in the near future and incorporate other services that support my ongoing health improvement journey.
