I needed a roof replacement for a roof that was 23 years old. A friend recommended Moreno's…read moreRoofing. They had done his roof about 3 years ago and he was very pleased with the job they done. Moreno's Roofings' quote was significantly lower than the other quote I got. Moreno's installs a complete roof system , ice & water shield, felt paper underlayment & starter strip shingles around perimeter off the roof. They use Certainteed-Landmark shingles with a 50 year warranty. The crew arrived on March 24, 2025 and removed the old shingles from the roof and installed the ice & water shield and felt paper and staged the shingles on top of the roof. They brought along a dumpster and discarded old shingles and other materials into it as they worked. The next day they nailed the new shingles into place and finished up the job. They cleaned all debris from my yard and also rolled the yard with a magnet to pick up all the nails. My experience with Moreno's roofing was very positive, the crew doing the work were friendly, professional & very thorough. I am extremely pleased with the results, the roof looks great. I would not hesitate to recommend Moreno's Roofing to anyone looking to have their roof replaced

My kitchen sink wouldn't drain. My home warranty company sent Randall & Sons. He supposedly…read moresnaked the drain, told me it was fixed, and said he'd come back out at no charge if it wasn't fixed. A few hours later I washed some dishes & sink wouldn't drain. I contacted him, he refused to come back & he told warranty company my drains needed to be hydro jetted as they were "full of grease and debris." Warranty company wouldn't pay for it as it was "too expensive." I finally hired a handyman who said, when fixing. that the drain was snaked in front of a curved part of pipe, but not after and there was a clog in the pipe after the curve. Thankfully handyman cleared the pipe and the sink drains great now. I DO NOT recommend Randall & Sons.

I told him that I could not be responsible for that door, since no one was home the next day, I called his phone many times, he did not answer and he told me that his truck had been stolen and that he had no possibility of coming with put up my garage door. Sunday passed. I waited on Monday, Tuesday, I contacted them, upset again, yelling at me, I had to file a police report and today, Thursday, they promised that they would come in the morning. I called them this afternoon and what was my surprise when they told me that they were not going to come. I wasn't going to do it and I had to wait for my money. If I wanted it for a month or more, it's a very irresponsible company. They try to scare customers away from complaining. I really wouldn't trust a company that threatens its customers. They get upset because they yell on the phone and threaten to call their lawyers if they continue to bother them and they practically try to tell me that they are not going to return my money. I really suggest that you do not trust such people, they are irresponsible and arrogant, to which I suggested that I would go to the door since I already had a check that covered the value of the garage door, and he said no, he did not have it. and that he was not going to give it to me because if I wanted to wait a month, seven days or even a year for my money to be returned to me, I would have to wait, really try to avoid construction companies like this since they are going to have a bad taste in their mouth. Now I have to buy my garage door myself and try to get my money back.

His personal car insurance paid for my repair. He gave no discount for the HUGE inconvenience of having my SUV in shop for 5 days. He did not pay for car upgrade to SUV which I really needed to transport my three kids. I purposely parked WAY out of his way to leave most of driveway and all of garage clear for him and his partner. It took him 3 days to re-install 3 closet doors and three towel rods and three shelves. One closet door fell off the day after he left. This was the one he took hours to put on its tracks and when he finally got it to slide on tracks, it was upside down! He billed those hours re re reinstalling it. He made sure he billed me 7 hours of work even when he took off for lunch and talked a great deal during day. Made sure full days work billed-- conveniently finished at 4:30 and took extra 15-30min putting stuff in van (also billed). Came out more costly than "Mr. Handyman" company who bills at 1/2 hour increments. John bills hourly and doesn't estimate in advance. Now I know why. I've tried 3 other handymen in the region and they are ALL better than this guy. He shouldn't claim to know how to do things if it takes forever to learn to fix, and charge as he learns and fails and tries again, as he goes...
