CAFE DE LA OLLA w/ vanilla cold foam
    Christa R.

My husband and I always wanted to try this coffee shop, since we take our kids to Altitude all the time. Finally had a chance to stop by and got Cafe De La Olla. My husband got it black, and I added vanilla cold foam. Tasting it black is def not what I'm used to. This one has a sweetness to it, so adding the vanilla cold foam made it a little too sweet for me. Turns out, they sweeten it with cinnamon and brown sugar. My husband had to get an extra shot with his black, which made it stronger, but I'm still not a fan of the sweetness.

Cozy coffee shop with a smooth, subtle ambiance that makes you feel instantly relaxed and welcomed. So happy to discover this gem in the San Dimas area! The coffee was the highlight -- I ordered the Spanish latte, and it was perfectly balanced with rich espresso, creamy milk, and a touch of cinnamon on top. Definitely coming back again!

Came here for the first time today and was greeted when we entered. I let them know it was my first visit and asked for advice and what they recommend. Very kind and helpful. I went with the cookie butter iced latte and let me start by saying holy moly it was so good!!! Plenty of choices and the store is cute and clean. Lots of parking. A must try in my opinion.

Happened to be next door and stopped in for a drink. Ordered an iced cold brew de olla and an unsweet matcha tea. The cold brew was tasty but a tad sweeter than I'm used to. The matcha was a good quality and they put a good amount in there, it had a touch of sweetness that I wasn't expecting but overall it was nice. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here again but if I was nearby it's a good option

Love everything about this place - the coffee, the pastries, and the service! The shop is small but still seems light and open. Quiet mornings- it's after 10 when it gets packed. The cafe de olla is the most popular drink here but you honestly can not go wrong with whatever you order. My personal fave is the Sams Latte without the drizzle. When they do have empanadas - grab one or a dozen! Parking is shared - so no stress in getting your coffee. Enjoy!

I have to start by saying I'm a regular at this coffee shop, and it's truly my favorite place! Their lattes are absolutely delicious, and since it's family-owned and operated, the atmosphere feels so warm and welcoming. The people there are incredibly kind and genuine. I highly recommend trying the mazapán latte--a fun twist on the classic Mexican household cookie. Their matcha is also excellent--smooth, high quality, and never chunky. They also offer pastries, and their savory options are divine! This is such a cozy spot to study, read a book, or just relax. While it is a smaller location, I hope their success allows them to expand and open more shops in the future. Can't wait to go back!

Loved this coffee shop. The service is very friendly and Christian based. The ambiance is very aesthetic and modern. The Island Latte was really good. Strongly recommend it. Jalapeño Bagel w/ Cream Cheese: 4.5/5 Iced Island Latte w/ Oatmilk: 5/5 Iced Brown Sugar Shaken w/ Oatmilk: 5/5

This is the perfect place if you're looking for a good study spot with great coffee or matcha. I find it hard to come across cafés near San Dimas that offer this much seating, plenty of outlets, and a solid drink menu. The space is spotless and incredibly aesthetic. The color scheme is chef's kiss. Pro Tip: Bring cash and you'll get a discount on your coffee. I've been here a few times and tried their Iced Latte with housemade banana cream foam, and their Island Latte (a limited-edition summer menu item). They make some of their syrups in-house, and their matcha is high quality too. The only thing to watch out for -- their drinks are pretty sweet. Be sure to ask for customization if you prefer things less sugary :3 The owners are sweet, and bonus points for the artwork around the shop. Good vibes all around. 10/10 coffee shop to study at.

This shop is so aesthetically pleasing with calm and chill vibes, perfect for getting some work done with no distractions. The barista was ready and willing to answer any questions I had about the current offerings. The coffee that I chose was the brown sugar shaken espresso. It was very tasty and unlike any that I've had before. Also, pebble ice!

I tried the cookie butter latte and was pretty underwhelmed... mainly because it tasted nothing like cookie butter. Pretty sure it's just a regular latte with "cookie butter"-flavored syrup and Biscoff crumbs sprinkled on top. The coffee itself was average at best -- nothing I couldn't replicate at home. The service was okay and the ambiance was nice. I only tried this place because it's close to one of the lagree studios I frequent, but I wouldn't go out of my way for the drinks here.

The spot where caffeine lovers Dwell and why do you ask? Well, maybe because of the sweet drinks that put you under their spell. So if you're a fan of sweet caffeinated drinks then these will ring your bell! So I got two of their recommended drinks that were the Banana Cream and Sam's Latte. Both of them were sweet and overpowered the Joe but it's all good if you're about that. Sam's latte had a blend of honey and cold foam, simple yet flavorful. The Banana Cream had banana chips and made this drink fun and with the added cold foam. Almost everyone seems to love cold foam these days. Service was friendly and recommendations were a relief since I wasn't in the mood to choose but when am I?! LoL! Plenty of parking in the morning. And that's my take on it, Peace

The Dwelling (San Dimas) contains potential. The interior is gorgeous. The staff is welcoming. And its drinks hold strong caffeine and good-quality ingredients. However, there's definite room for improvement. I ordered the Banana Cream Latte ($6.25 - Large - iced). The drink contains a lovely, powerful kick of caffeine, but this drink does not taste like bananas or cream. This drink reminds me of those pretentious water coolers with floating bits of fruit inside... yet its water tastes exactly like tap water. The Banana Cream Latte tastes like strong coffee with some floating squished chunks of banana. Even when thoroughly mixed, this drink tastes like strong, coarse iced coffee with a side of mashed banana. Although I sincerely appreciate the strong caffeine, the tiny ice, and generous liquid... the drink is not tasty. It's functional, but it's as tasty as dropping bits of banana into your water bottle. I arrived on a weekday (around 10:15AM). Staff (receipt said Alexis) is extremely friendly, hardworking, and welcoming. My beverage was completed in two minutes and 28 seconds. Fast! The Dwelling (San Dimas) has an enchanting, charming ambiance. Its interior resembles an upscale coffee shop. This well-ventilated location is extremely clean, and its furniture is very new. The location has an gender neutral bathroom, free wifi with password, and seven small tables for customers. The music is very faint and calming. Unfortunately, there are only two electric sockets accessible to customers, so it might be difficult to charge your electronic devices. Next, The Dwelling (San Dimas) has a very forgettable exterior/outside, so it's very difficult to find. Lastly, I'm not a fan of this location's single trashcan's design. For example, if trying to throw away a tiny piece of plastic, your hands will touch the trashcan's top flaps. (Important Tip: My receipt said "Cash Discount." I paid 24 cents less because I paid with cash instead of card. Bring cash for your payments.) Overall, The Dwelling (San Dimas) overflows with potential. It's also hidden and charming. If you're a nearby college student searching for a spot, I can gently recommend. 4 out of 5

Dwelling coffee is a modern coffee shop with cozy vibes. They have various latte flavors drinks, specialty coffee, non- coffee drinks, and classic coffee. Their pastries and bagels are very freshly baked. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The service was fast and outstanding. For drinks I ordered : - Pumpkin Pie Matcha 5/5 It was a pleasant mixture between matcha flavor and the warm spices of pumpkin pie. I enjoyed every sip of my drink. Next time, I will ask for light ice. - Banana Cream Latte 5/5 The drink was creamy and had well balanced flavor between banana and coffee. I also got Jalapeños Cheese Bagel and Pizza Bagel. They were fresh, savory with perfect crisp crust. Their Pineapple Cake was light, fluffy and adequately sweetened. The coffee shop is a hidden gem in San Dimas. It is a perfect place to study or to hangout with friends. I really enjoyed my time there and I will definitely go back.

For 8:30 am on a Saturday morning, this place was quite busy and the flow of customers did not stop the entire time we were there. There was plenty of parking in front and to the side of the cafe, as it is at the end of the strip mall. The display case of baked good intrigued me and I was divided between the Banana Bread and another item but after asking the cashier, he also suggested the Banana Bread. Since it was my first visit, I tend to purchase a bit more to enjoy later as I am unsure if I'll get the chance to stop by again. Banana Bread (pass) $5.75 When trying the Banana Bread later that afternoon, it was dry and not very delicious. We bake better Banana Bread at home, so it was not worth the $5.75. Kevin's Breakfast Sando w/ country potatoes $14.95 Grilled sourdough, prosciutto, pesto, garlic, mayo, provolone, arugula, and fried egg w/ tots, country potatoes, fries, or side salad From the Yelp reviews, I knew I had to try Kevin's Breakfast Sando and I ordered it with Country Potatoes, but the Country Potatoes do not include onions or bell peppers. It's like a "take" on country potatoes but not exactly country potatoes. I still enjoyed them nonetheless as country potatoes are my go to, but no one would also ever go wrong with tots! The Sando was delicious, but a bit tad salty for me, but I would most definitely order it again. 12 oz Black Eye $5 2 shots of espresso in drip coffee Since I am not normally awake this early on a weekend, I was needing caffeine more than ever, and I was very pleased to see Black Eye on the menu. I do not often, if ever, order Black Eye so I had to ask the cashier what it was and when they said it was espresso in coffee, I was sold! All the food and drinks were served on/in disposable containers, which from reviews, it seems like they started doing that since covid and have continued to do so. Service is interesting but overall nothing to complain about. One orders at the counter and they call your order for you to pick-up but with the acoustics in the restaurant, one may not hear their order being called. Sometimes an employee would bring a drink or so around to the customer if they did not hear their order being called, which was nice because it could get quite noisy on the inside. This is most definitely a family-oriented restaurant and I love see people of all ages enjoy time together, especially over breakfast.
