The Edison is one of a handful of really well done themed restaurants in Disney Springs. From the awesome exterior, to the super cool interior with its electric company theming, it is a really cool place to visit. The cocktails and bar on the first (2nd technically) floor was really great and affords you some great views. The lower level is where all the dining and live music happens and it is well done as well. Where things get mixed is the food. We had the gigantic pretzel, corn bread and biscuits, two Edison Burgers, the PBB sandwich, and our table mates ordered the steak and salmon. In general the burgers were good, though one of ours was missing half the bottom bun and the rest of the bun was really stale, and the sandwich lacked flavor and was a bit one note. Our dinner guests mentioned the steak was really good but the salmon was just okay. Our waiter Garret was pretty good, it wasn't overly busy but he did seem to struggle just a bit keeping up with his tables and there were times when we had to reach out to passing staff for silverware or refills. But, in general it was an okay time. In the future I'd probably skip the food and stick to drinks and enjoying the atmosphere. read more

They have a great happy hour and a great bar staff. They all work together to serve you. We got the giant pretzel, which was with the wall the spinach dip delicious and they both had really well for dipping the pretzel and the spinach dip. Our Bartender recommended it and it was awesome for me. I got the mocktail that was apple and ginger flavored it was absolutely delicious. Solid spot to get some drinks and some bar food. I've sat at the teeny tiny upstairs bar before, but on this night I went downstairs to the main bar. Up first, I had the Oaxacan on Sunshine for $20. It was pretty girly, and I didn't know it was going to come with a flower. Overall, it was fine, I wouldn't order it again though. Then, I went off the menu and had the bartender make me a dirty martini. Ooohwee was this one dirty and delicious. I love the olives with blue cheese in them too. For food, I tried the $15 Deviled eggs. I thought they were super solid. I'd order these again. For my main item, I ordered the $23 American Cheeseburger. It was solid, not as good as STK, but it was fine. Super big space. On the louder side inside. I would come back here again and get some more drinks next time. read more

Absolutely STUNNING restaurant! Probably my favorite at Disney springs now! We got to our reservation a bit early but we were able to sit at the bar and enjoy some great creations. The interior fully transports you to the roaring twenties with a steampunk feel, I suggest taking time to look around at all the great details and the working Photo Booth! They have live music in the evening, jazz which just puts the mood of the whole place over the edge! These people are truly talented and have lovely voices. Now to the food.. seriously divine. Everything we ordered was made to perfection, the proportions are more than satisfying, and I seriously can not wait to book my next reservation at the Edison!! This has been a spot in Disney Springs that I have been meaning to try for some time. The concept is really cool with steampunk style decor. The theming is really well done. Our server was also outstanding. Very friendly and attentive and just a delight. The big disappointment was the food. For the prices being charged (e.g. over $20 for a salad) the food was very underwhelming. Nothing really stood out on the menu other than the grilled cheese and tomato soup... and that was the most expensive tomato soup and grilled cheese I have ever eaten. It was tasty... but did not justify the price. If you are looking for a place with cool drinks and some good live music tho I the spot do you. This restaurant really takes you back in time. The décor and lighting make you feel like you're in a different era, creating a unique atmosphere. They also have live music, so you can enjoy some great tunes while you eat. I ordered a burger with an Impossible meat patty, and it was very good. A Dame'll Sting Ya- Sipsmith Lemon Drizzle Gin, Stirring's All Natural Ginger Liqueur, Honey, Lemon Juice, Cranberry Juice, Fresh Savannah Bee Company® Honeycomb. This was SO good! The lemon juice and honey really shine through and it's a sweet drink which is what I prefer. Fried pickles with ranch- I love any fried pickle spear. They're hot and flavorful and pair perfectly dipped in ranch. Deviled Eggs cage-free, traditional, crispy potato cake, bacon, smokey paprika. These were delicious. The potato cake is like a mini fried hashbrown similar to chick fil a's. It's crispy and holds up to the egg. The deviled eggs are chilled and the filling is just right. It's also a large appetizer to share! Tomato Soup and Gooey Grilled Cheese-This is massive!!!! I've never seen a grilled cheese so big. It's gooey and pairs perfectly with the acidic tomato soup. Short Rib- The short rib had a good amount of fat on it, but it's easy to remove if you prefer. This was a great dish packed with flavor on top of creamy buttery mashed potatoes and the green beans added a contrast of texture. As someone who hates mushrooms, I didn't even notice them. New York Strip Steak- I didn't even need the chimi sauce because the steak was seasoned so well and cooked to my preferred temp. The mash potatoes were really good as well. My friend's been here a couple of times and there was no wait compared to the other restaurants we passed by. Walking in, it reminded me of Nashville a little; with the vintage vibes with live music and a full bar. We sat downstairs and there was someone playing live music. Although we were greeted slightly late and got our drinks later, our server was super sweet and nice! We ordered a mimosa with watermelon juice and the rubas shandy. For food, we got the PB B&B electric co and the churrasco. Looking at the price, it is slightly expensive especially for brunch, but not only are you in Orlando, but the portions and the amount of meat was worth it!! Halfway through my food, I was full!!! I definitely think this is one of THE places to go for brunch or dinner. We went when they opened for dinner so it wasn't too busy. Deviled eggs were a hit for my family. The kids loved it, especially the potato cakes (hash browns)- extra crispy. We ordered a second round! Tomato soup and grilled cheese were okay. For some reason it didn't hit the spot for me. I think the deviled eggs raised our standards so high that everything else wasn't good. Our imposter plant based burger didn't have much flavor. No sauce. First night in Orlando and off to Disney Springs we went! The Edison is a little off the main drag in Disney Springs, but it was a cute and unique restaurant. It reminded us a little of Toothsome Chocolate Emporium at City Walk. We had pushed our reservation back a few hours due to a flight delay, but when we arrived a little earlier than anticipated they were so kind to accommodate us. There was live music that kept the vibes pretty great, and we enjoyed our food as well. We had the fried pickle spears, Power Plant Salad (with steak for one and with shrimp for another) and The Edison Burger. We were all happy with our food! Overall a beautiful restaurant with great food and a very comfortable atmosphere. If you like live music during dinner, this is the spot. The Edison is a must-have if you like hefty burgers. And their grilled cheese is a classic if you want something simple but that will also fill you up quick with the big portion + the tomato soup. Our server Jackson was super friendly and we were seen and seated quickly on a busy Sunday night. Downsides are that it is QUITE pricey so be wary especially with the alcohol and even mocktails. We also ordered a Maker's and Coke but noticed that it with a double, there was barely any Coca Cola in it, which made it a bit less enjoyable. And naturally, it being located in Disney Springs can be a challenge to get to, but if you're in the area looking for a nice dinner, I definitely recommend! The live band was amazing. Wow! Does Felix make an unbelievable drink. I order off their seasonal menu and I had the lavender 75; which is a take on the French and 75. The drink has sparkling wine, lavender simple syrup, lemon juice and gin for $17. I've come to the Edison on many times for different occasions. The first time I experienced it was with a group of friends to check out their entertainment. Another time was for a birthday party for dinner. Many times I've met up with friends for a catch up and the last time was a stumbling in from Enzo's because they share the same bathroom and I did not know and since we'd already closed out next door, we went to the bar here. The decoration and speakeasy vibes here are great. The entertainment is wonderful as well. The food is standard and the cocktails are great. This would be a fun place to go that is most definitely in the tourist area but still unique. My favorite experience has been at the bar. We received great service and the mixologists know their stuff when it comes to cocktails. I still have my high roller coin and hope to make my way through that list! read more

I visited The Edison at Disney Springs recently. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Our server was attentive and the staff did a great job. The space itself is still one of the most visually interesting restaurants at Disney Springs with its steampunk industrial design. However, I was disappointed with the live music at The Edison. One of the main reasons I chose The Edison Disney Springs was for the speakeasy jazz atmosphere that used to match the restaurant's Gatsby inspired concept. In the past, bands such as Sound City Radio played music that fit the 1920s and 1930s style of the venue. The band performing when I visited, The Moxy, was talented, but the music felt like the same rock and pop cover bands you can hear all around Disney Springs or at House of Blues. It did not match the speakeasy jazz vibe that The Edison is known for. Part of what made The Edison live music experience unique was hearing songs that matched the setting. Music like Fever, Birdland, or Take the A Train helped create the immersive speakeasy atmosphere. Right now the entertainment feels like it could be anywhere at Disney Springs. I hope management brings back live music that fits the Gatsby and speakeasy theme, because that is what made The Edison stand out. I would gladly return to The Edison if the live entertainment once again reflected the speakeasy jazz concept that originally made the venue unique. read more

This is simply a small derivative from the original chicken sandwich on the menu (alla hot honey being the only addition). I'm not entirely sure how much this made the sandwich so much worse but it did. The entire thing was sticky, bun and all. Made for one hell of a messy meal. One that, quite honestly, was not very rewarding. I will give it three stars since my dinner guests did seem to enjoy their meal. And they ordered more traditional meal options. The ambiance of this place was quite great as well. Music was lively and the theming was on point. Friendly knowledgeable waiter. He was very patient as well. The drinks were excellent, a bit pricey, as is everything in the area, but well balanced and a little strong. The food was very very good. The burger was very tasty, fresh ground and made to order. The fries came out a little limp, but when asked to get them crispy they were very very good. The short ribs were melts in your mouth. While we overlooked the visual assault, we were seated by the bar area and waited over 15 minutes to be greeted. Our waitress took our order and then disappeared. Our food was delivered by runners and our drinks were dropped off by other wait staff. She only returned to drop the check and try to take my plate while I was still eating. My burger was very good and cooked how I like it. My partner's grilled cheese was acceptable. As a whole this wasn't worth an $80 lunch. We came by to grab some light snacks to celebrate our friend's birthday. There was wonderful live music and the tables were filled with guests, there to enjoy the nice night. Upon arrival, we were seated and met our server Cole. Cole was knowledgeable of the dishes, gave us splendid recommendations, and overall was a gem of a server. We chose the Hand Pies, Crab Dip (Highly recommended by Cole and we saw why), the Circuit Board, and the St. Louis Ribs. Every item ordered was phenomenal. There was just so much flavor in every item and we enjoyed our dining experience very much. The menu had a wide selection of drinks and a decent selection of food items. I had some high expectations surrounding The Edison from reviews from friends, but I was sorely let down. The building itself is so creative and neat. Steampunk all the way, a couple of bars, mechanical gear clock, and an industrial staircase set the scene. The hostess was nice and the bartender who we heard from afar was putting on a class and a show. Our waitress however was nearly emotionless. No smile, no empathy in her voice. Literally felt forced to say her rehearsed menu options. They're apparently know for their burgers, so of course I got the burger. There are only 3 options, one of which is a veggie burger, and the two others are so similar anyway. So The Edison - House sauce, bacon, cheese, OLTP, in a very thick bun. Burger was seasoned well, not a lot of sauce, with the usual toppings. Fries were seasoned well but nothing to write home about. For $25, this burger just wasn't worth the hype or the price. I would easily return to D-Luxe burger at Disney Springs before here if you're craving a burger. read more

This was probably the 4th or 5th time I've dined at The Edison and while the food is pretty good, it's the insanely cool steampunk vibes which really capture your attention.
