My husband and I decided to take a trip to enjoy the cooler weather before fall sets in. The price here was just right at $89 dollars a night and they allowed dogs for an additional $20 bucks per reservation. We arrived early and asked if early check in was avaliable. They were booked solid and somehow were able to squeeze us in for an early check in at noon. We arrived to a row of tiny cabins and a row of motel rooms. It was located in a quiet neighborhood next to a street that was undergoing sewer work. Ryan and Amanda were running around cleaning rooms. Amanda quickly waved us into the front office and quickly checked us in. The room was perfect for what we were looking for. Functional, clean and efficient. If you are looking for simple accommodations with friendly service this is great find. No place is perfect and its always great to be prepared for every visit. My recommendations for you if you decide to come stay here for a few nights. You may need to bring: Facial tissue Hair dryer Lotion Flip flops Bug spray Fan Sound machine They have clean white towels, shampoo, bar soap, refrigerator, microwave, small closet, a bible, an air conditioner, and outdoor seating for smokers. No smoking in rooms. My only discomfort were the squirrels scurrying on the roof at night. The high squeak of the refrigerator compressor kicking in every few minutes. You can hear the neighbors from the bathroom. None of these are anything that would discourage me from coming back. They are minor nuisances like any other place would have. Come here for the service, clean and functional rooms. Stay and support Ryan and Amanda. Our dog got sick and we left after one night but we will be back.

This is not a typical AmericInn. It's very, very nice. The staff were fantastic- super helpful and friendly. The hotel is very clean and very nice. I should've taken more pictures, but I took a picture of the lobby because it was so warm and welcoming inside and out, decorated for the holidays. I highly recommend this hotel!

Yelp needs to delete this entire page and start over. 2500 Keenan Dr is the AmericInn by Wyndham. This is a fantastic, new, modern hotel, worth every bit of a 5 star review. 1500 US-71 is the Riverfront Hotel. This is a really old Holiday Inn, that Holiday Inn does not want to have anything to do with anymore, and has removed their name from the hotel. It does NOT have a view of the river. The employees dress like the guests, use cuss words constantly, do not put water out at breakfast, and are generally not professional. Our toilet leaked toilet water on the floor. There was long black hair on the towel rack. There was no stopper for the drain. The walls were damaged. The air conditioning did not work well. There was no security lock on the door (someone had clearly kicked the door in and ripped the lock off the wall). Be careful out there -- stay at the hotel that you really intend to!
