For quick cravings, they also have various Asian snacks, ice creams, drinks, ramen noodles, frozen foods, etc. Great place to buy lovely Asian gift sets as well. Store is relatively small, but its size makes it easier to find what you're looking for, and it's well-stocked and reasonably priced. They also have freshly made Gimbap (Korean sushi), kimchi, and other goods throughout the week. If you're new to Korean/Asian cooking, you can also ask for tips or advice from the owner or regular patrons; they're really nice and friendly and speak great German if you're non-Korean. Another plus: Great convenient location on Berrenrather, near all the places I need to run errands. :)

On my first visit I had a list of: makgeolli, rice flakes, peanut paste without sugar or palm oil, sliced refrigerated rice cake, aloe vera drink, dried bean curd sheet, etc. The store had exactly everything I was looking for and more. They also stock gifts, novelties, and cooking instruments. From me to you, it doesn't get better than Heng Long!

It is a bit hidden behind aral tank station in universität but once you look closer it is there! The products range from lots of country and brands, they also have varieties of frozen food especially seafood. Sushi ingredients are by far complete here, and other seasoning can also be found here. They also have so many varieties of noodles, instant or not. The down part is that it is quite pricey, but still acceptable since all asian products imported to europe are also quite expensive. Overall, i find it really nice and you can also sometimes find some asian cooking tour group wandering around the store, if you are interested you can sign up for an asian cooking class.

Visited Cologne during a Viking Rhine River cruise and I have to mention a great souvenir shop,…read moreGerman Souvenirs, that was close to the Cathedral across from where the Viking shuttle bus parked. I bought 4 beer steins and he charged 37.99 Euros for shipment to California via DHL. It did take 25 days to receive, which he did give me a heads up about, but they arrived in perfect condition. He individually wrapped each one and then added more bubble wrap to the entire box. I am really impressed at the diligence he took to package my beer steins. He also emailed me when he shipped them out (which was the next day), and when I couldn't track my package online, he resent the link and checked into it for me (he replied the next day). I had to mention this shop, because the other shops I visited, didn't seem to have as much knowledge on the shipping process and I had no confidence in them. I was worried I would be paying for steins & shipping costs and then never receive the product. German Souvenirs knew the exact process for shipping out Steins. He told me the cost, the # of days it would take, and he explained how he was going to package it. Very reliable, very reasonable priced, & Great Customer service !
