I went in for a can of soda - and was so pleased to see they had a reasonable array of American cans. We got a couple flavoured Mountain Dews and some Cherry Pepsi. At 12DKK per can, we were pleased with the price as it's imported. The man behind the counter was polite, and the store seemed clean and well laid out.

The pralines are made on site and they do make an astonishing variety of those as well. All of the things I have tasted have been great. It is not only possible to buy the chocolate to take home but they also run a small cafe there so it is possible to enjoy a good cup of coffee (they use coffee from Helsingborg based roaster Koppi) or perhaps a cup of hot chocolate with your chocolate.

Run by a mother and daughter team, it is a place that is welcoming for a chat, a wave passing by or replenishing my stock of licorice as well as buying some ganache. Ganache is cream and chocolate filled squares enthused with a variety of flavours. Lavender, ginger, pistachio, rum, wild peppar, cardamon to name a few. I never pick myself...well, only the number of ganache. Leaving someone else to pick the flavours allows me to try new things. Nevertheless, this is not a shop where it's either wholesale or hard shell truffle with every possible flavour. These ganache are to be savoured.

This small chocolate shop not far from Triangeln station is actually quite nice. They have various imported chocolates from all over Europe, some candies (mostly liquorice, brrr!) and also handmade chocolate truffles behind the display, so you could pick what you want. But the shop is really really small and it's hard to move around, and it is stocked with way too many goods but the service is also very nice so I'm very torn about the whole review and ends up at three. They're still making these candies the same way that they did back then - entirely by hand. Other than an electric heater that helps keep the raw candy "dough" warm enough to work, nothing has changed in a century. It's a small shop, so our tour group didn't stay long. Just long enough to watch them turning and folding the candy, then cutting it into bits to be wrapped. We got a free sample too, which was pretty neat. The candy is very pretty and comes in a few dozen different flavors. Certainly any gift of this you bring back to home will be appreciated. Delish!

They have hundreds of kinds and you can just walk in and buy one or as many as you would like. Its a fun stop while in Copenhagen and I really recommended it for those who have kids!
