A good, if very overpriced selection of gourmet foods and cooking equipment, with the exception of their own brand items, which are quite reasonable.
The cafe is good, with nice pastries and coffee and a deli fridge with some good quality cheeses and delicacies. I think they could do with a more extensive deli selection, Newcastle is badly in need of one.
They also offer cooking classes, which appear popular.
They definitely lose marks for the staff, as one or two in particular can be rude and ignorant at times, especially at the register.
Still, in a niche market in Newcastle and without competition, it's the best place to go for kitchen and gourmet sundries. read more
