You'll understand what I mean as soon as you walk in. There are almost always locals hanging out, shooting the breeze, and talking about the latest town news. It has that old-school neighborhood barbershop feel that is hard to fake. The owner, Don, is very supportive of local high school sports, which is obvious from all the team pictures on the walls. The sideburns weren't even either and he took a huge chunk out right above my ear. The other side was better but clearly this was an unbalanced fade. It is just him or his son in a small shop that has the feel of a classic barbershop from decades ago. That is what I wanted. Something that was pretty much like stepping back into the 1950s.
