Just an update here on my previous post. I have reached out a few times as the "new" lenses they put in my glasses do not have the tint that I paid for. If I can give less than one star I would. My daughter went here 2 weeks before going to college and was told her new contacts would be ready in 2 weeks. She was hopeful they'd be in before she moved into college but not too stressed. 6 weeks later and after so many calls over the last few weeks, not once did she get an answer and the voicemail to the business is always full. I tried multiple times and got the same thing. Begins to feel like a scam is being pulled here. I called another branch in another city and got an answer immediately. They tried called the Salina branch but got the same thing and so they have sent them emails to the ordering team and manager. Fingers crossed they develop a conscience and provide a better customer experience from here on. read more

I absolutely recommend this place to get your eyes checked. They have excellent doctors who take the time with you to explain things. I was just in there the other day and Ashley waited on me after my eye exam. She is so nice and sweet. She did amazing with me and helped me with the picking out of glasses. Worse than before! A year ago I gave a 1 star review -zero a year later. Messed up prescriptions, terrible front of house, non return of phone calls and incompetence abounds. Yes, they take most insurance. I would rather pay through the nose than use this place again. read more

Original appointment was May 9th 2024. Let me start by saying the doctors are amazing at this location!!! The rest of my experience has been horrible. Went to pick up my glasses about 3 weeks after initial order. When picked them up I could not see and was told to try them for a few days. To shorten the story.. it is now 1 week shy of date that the glasses were ordered and the 2nd time they have been sent back and still no glasses. I did speak to the DM on July 17th about compensation (Ronee) and now so conveniently she is no longer with the company. When the office Manager sent the glasses back in on the 16th was told it would be expedited. Call.today -- since they cannot followup with clients that are having issues with their service/products and was told they shipped on July 29th so maybe they will be here tomorrow. Just want a pair of glasses that I can see out of and to be compensated for the days I had to go without being able to see. I was also told they don't do refunds but according to their website yes they do in full less a $40 fee. Can somebody provide a number of somebody other than the Salina office to talk to? Obviously customer service is not a concept they understand or desire to improve!!! read more

Most horrible experience ever and very unfriendly! I will never be back. When they referred my child to a specialist outside of this place, they denied her when we came back to get different lenses (due to the specialist request) because we had went elsewhere! Everytime I came back for an appointment, it was always something else that was a struggle. IM DONE! Found a new eyedoctor here in Salina and have been multiple times and never had one issue! read more

Optometrists are great! The office staff is the reason I would never recommend this place. They have been inconsistent and unprofessional for years. From inaccurate billing, unable to process insurance correctly, canceling appts at the last minute, incorrect or non ordering of glasses/contacts to never returning phone calls. You name it, they struggle with it. I have never dealt with any doctors office that consistently struggles with patient services. I think I would rather drive an hour to a different office than to continue using this local one. read more

I got an appointment quickly, the optometrist was very polite and seemed very efficient. After that everything goes downhill. I ordered glasses that were supposed to take two weeks, I have been calling for two weeks. No one answers the phone, I leave my name, number and issue and no one ever calls me back. It is extremely frustrating and very unprofessional, I have been waiting a month. Very poor service. read more

Original appointment date: April 24th Quoted 2 weeks on glasses, have called weekly to check up. Keep getting told they're stuck in production at etching. At the one month mark now good thing I didn't go there because I needed new glasses in a timely manner or anything... Update 1: got my glasses in at the 5 week mark. Unfortunately I can't see anything out of them. I am assuming it's because the tech never measured my pupillary distance so everything is now super fuzzy unless I squint. So that's fun. Update 2: Jennifer, the I don't know... area boss? Finally called me on June 18th (about 2 weeks after I contacted their customer support specialist who responded here). I went in, she took measurements. It was indeed that they didn't put in the correct pupillary height and distance or whatever. The original tech was more than 10mm off in my measurements. Jennifer ordered me a new set of glasses. Said she would put a rush on them. It's now July 9th (3 weeks from when I went in), I haven't had any communication from the store. I called today to see if these "rushed" glasses are there. I stated that I was calling to check up on my glasses and the lady on the phone responded with "Well have we called you to tell you they're in?", in a rather snotty voice, To which I responded "No. But Jennifer did my order and she said she was putting a rush on it." I could be wrong but I don't think the lady liked my response because she told me "What's your name so I can check?" I gave my name and was on hold for over 20 minutes. They FINALLY picked the phone back up and told me my glasses are on back order so it's "still going to take a while even if we expedite it"... for those still reading... they were already supposed to be expedited. So I'm currently sitting here, having the first appointment on April 24th, it's July 9th. I'm out $500 because these people can't figure out how to do their job, AND I STILL CANNOT SEE. read more

Inaccurate billing..over charged then when I wouldn't pay their over charge they turned into collections. Only reversed it when I challenged it. The said 6-8 weeks for a refund. Never did get a copy of the prescription that they assured me at the appointment we would get. Judging by the other reviews it seems to be the normal for this business. read more

Worst customer service, went to place an order for eyeglasses.You had four tech's, two were with patients, one was doing NOTHING, the other was struggling with an order. The patients left, one went to clean something and the other two just disappeared other one still at her little desk. Finally the one that went to clean came back and helped a patient that came from the exam room. The other still at her desk on her cell phone! Finally the one on her cell went to lunch! This is my second bad experience. Second time I received glasses I can't wear. Then they make excuses and are resistant to correcting the glasses. This time they sent my glasses back to be fixed and I have been waiting over 3 weeks. Never again. Taking my business elsewhere. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! Everytime I call it take 3 attempts before talking to a person. my contacts have been on back order for more than a month.a was give a single 5 day sample and told to get by with my glasses until they come in. I was told my contacts arrived and went to receive them. it was my left eye only. and will be another month before my right is gets shipped in. unbelievably poor customer service, problem solving, and all around experience. I suppose that's what you can expect from a franchise. Don't waste your time or money at this place. Go to a trusted private practice even if it takes you longer to get in. read more

They accept Kancare insurance. Staff is very polite and friendly. The place looks and feels nice and clean. They are the cheapest I've found to get a contact fitting and teach appointment. I'm giving 4 stars only because you have wait quite a long time to be seen, even when you are just there to pick up glasses. I would recommend this place overall! read more

Horrible service. Front Desk clerk Amber was rude ad inconvenienced by having to wait on customers. They had to remake my glasses 3 times, 3 months later and still did not get them correct. I finally had enough and requested a refund. They argued with the copay return and told me I had to go through the insurance to get that back. One call to the insurance company and they were advised they did owe me the copay back also. read more

If I could give a zero, I would... If you are in the market for eyeglasses, stay away! I placed my order for eyeglasses over 2 months ago and to date, I have not received them. I have never had an eyeglass order, with insurance, take so long. And, to make matters worse, when you call in to check on the status, if you get a live person to ever answer the phone, they brush you off like you are unimportant. I am glad my vision insurance is changing vendors next year. Hopefully, my experience will be a better one with a different company. read more

Not everyone there was rude, but the the try-on lady was the worst . They don't put the PD on the rx on purpose. Get with the times! No one wants to pay $500 dollars for a pair of glasses! People like to order online! read more

i had to switch eye doctors due to stuff about my insurance. now im seeing bad reviews but this place isnt bad, all it takes is communication and they can help you. i always get to pick my own glasses, normally i ask for round frames, but ive never had anything bad with them, the good thing is that i usually get my glasses early rather than late. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We chose this eye doctor because their hours worked with our schedule seeing as we live out of town. Unfortunately their customer service has been terrible. Last week after receiving notification that our eyewear had arrived, we called to let them know we would be in right before closing to pick them up. After being treated like a bother, we were then lied to about the arrival of our glasses. The employee told us that she had no pick up ready for us that day (April 7th) and I got confirmation today when i called that our glasses were, in fact, delivered to the store on the 5th and ready for pick up that day. I suppose she didn't want to risk us keeping her a few minutes past close. On top of all that, I was left on hold for 56 minutes, and thinking they were very busy and not wanting to get pushed to the end of the call wait, it took me that long to hang up and call back. When I finally did, they answered on the first ring. Turns out, apparently I had been forgotten about, and when i brought it to the employees attention she seemed like she couldn't care less. Their staff was very friendly and helpful. They were able to schedule my son's appointment fairly quick (less than a week). My husband and I will both be scheduling our exams with them soon. read more
