I am writing this solely to save another soul. I am coming with receipts to counter whatever lies they are going to respond with. I am also leaving my email because if something like this has happened to you please reach out to me. I am working on something on the back end. I retained this firm as a "women supporting women" business. Little did I know this company is a complete scam, fraud, and will knowingly not work on your case. Please please save yourself. 1.) I fired this firm January 8th after another $2,000 was deducted from my checking account with no work to be shown on their behalf. It is now February 11th and I myself am emailing the court for a hearing on the order to release them because the "fab Law firm" has not emailed to schedule it with the court . Instead they are wanting to stay on as counsel and drain my escrow. 2.) I submitted forms to them in November that were required by an order from the judge. They never submitted those forms to the court. Causing opposing counsel to file a contempt motion against me. 3.) Opposing counsel sent letters to this attorney which were sent back as "undeliverable" to them. 4.) I requested a call from this firm after a hearing in November it is now February and they have not returned that request. 5.) The Judge ordered mediation to be completed with in 20 days. I emailed and said I would take any days asap. They never schedule mediation. It is now February and I am scheduling mediation myself. 6.) My original attorney Alexis who was with this firm left and started her own firm. They never communicated that to me. I had to find out what was going on when my emails were bouncing back. Via a google search I found she was no longer there. 7.) I was told that my motion could be filed as an emergency motion to get my daughter back. They never filed it as an emergency instead they lied and said the "judge denied it" but on court records it tells you if the motions are filed as an emergency or not 8.) opposing counsel delivered discover in December via email to the fab law firm. That discovery was never relayed to me to do due diligence. Instead I had to email opposing counsel and ask where it was to figure out my attorney (fab law) had it the whole time. 9.) I was schedule to have a phone conference in October with Alexis. She was unable to make the call... I was charged in rescheduling her call to a different attorney... I was then charged to explain my whole case over to Neyza Guzman "bringing her up to speed". This attorney took over my case because Alexis left unbeknownst to me. I repeat I WAS CHARGED TO BRING ANOTHER ATTORNEY IN THE SAME FIRM UP TO DATE ON MY CASE. 10.) I received a motion from this law firm as I asked to see EVERYTHING before it was filed to the court. The grammatical errors and incorrect information was astonishing. I had to rewrite the motion for them to be filed. I was also charged for the communication via me editing their work. To date I have spent $8,500 and have absolutely nothing to show for it. I would have spent a million to get my daughter back and we wouldn't be having this conversation but we are. We are because this firm does not deserve to represent anyone. They don't deserve to lie to people who are broken, alone, and desperate. They don't deserve to give false hope in fixing things and completely betraying them behind their back. They deserve to have their licenses taken away and never hurt another soul. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FIRM. My retainer was wasted, and no services were provided. Please take the time to read ALL the negative reviews carefully, as the positive ones are likely fake. I contacted your firm in March 2024 and paid to speak with Felicia, explaining that I only needed a lawyer if a trial or motion was requested by the other party. I specifically asked that no action be taken and that no time or money be wasted otherwise. This was the agreement for me to pay the retainer. However, once the retainer was received, your firm insisted on reaching out to the other party, promising results. One email was sent to the other party with zero results. Despite this, Darryl Block, the lawyer in charge, continued to contact me, claiming he was trying to understand and resolve the case. I was billed for every email and communication, even though they were not requested. No progress has been made, but my retainer continued to be depleted. By July, Mr. Block stopped communicating with me, went on holiday, and, after returning in August, promised to prepare a request to send to the other party. I never seen it nor received it, but I was still billed around a thousand dollars for it. Shortly after, he told me he was leaving the firm. I was left without a lawyer, and the minimal knowledge Mr. Block had of my case was lost. No progress made, and the retainer continued to decrease. The firm promised that another lawyer would take over the case and review it at no additional charge. I briefly spoke with Crystal Phillips, the second lawyer, who promised to review my case and call me back the following week. I never heard from her again. No progress made, and the retainer kept decreasing. I repeatedly reached out to Felicia, the person responsible, but was never able to speak with her again. The money was in her pocket, and it seems her job was done. I kept submitting complaints through the portal, which was the only way to contact you, other than by phone where an operator would answer and say they would pass on the information. No progress made, and the retainer continued to go down. Another lawyer, Neyza Guzman, was promised to me. I received one phone call from her saying she would review the case and get back to me. But the story was always the same, I never heard from anyone. I tried to complain again and requested that my case be escalated or that I speak with someone responsible. All I received were more charges for messages I sent, and I was billed for "We will escalate your case" or "we will respond," when nothing ever came of it. No progress made, and the retainer kept being depleted. In November 2024, I requested that the firm formally terminate our engagement and issue a refund. Now, in December, after thousands of dollars spent, I am still being charged more just for requesting a refund--$100, $30, $50--while my remaining retainer continues to be depleted with every excuse. While waiting for my refund, I request to have all my money returned, $5,000, since no work was done and 9 months of my time was wasted. Time that could have been used to progress my case. She does not mail any bit of your paperwork and cuts you out of her system where you cannot even get it. You are and client and is paying her and she will argue you down if you disagree with her. Very, very unprofessional. You barely get to meet or speak with her. If you have an discrepancy with her while working on your case you are done! Out comes the timer. She was worse that my divorce experience. I wish I had never met her or her firm. Correction: I never ,et or seen her only spoken with her on the phone which had a timer. Run, please and do not say I did not tell you. It is all about the money and her lifestyle. She is not an humber or honest person. You are breaking down and she is counting your funds as well as being rude, and will stop your case if you do not continue in paying her. I used The Fab Law Firm to file my divorce and was quoted a price of 3,500 with a max price of 7,500 if we needed mediation. I paid the 7,500 upfront just in case. The case ended up not needing mediation because the ex-wife and I were able to reach an agreement on our own, which we sent to our lawyers to draft. In total I spoke with my point of contact less than 10 times on the phone and less than 20 times via email. I was charged over 6,500 dollars for the work because they charged me for every email they sent to me and or the other law firm, and at times sending multiple emails (conversations) and charging for each response. I am not sure of many of the items I was charged for because it was just shown as hours they logged for work done on my behalf. I really don't understand all of the work that was done because the ex and I wrote our own agreement and just needed it drafted into legal form and submitted. The lawyers in my case didn't negotiate or write any agreement on my behalf, they simply took the agreement the ex and I made and put it into form for the courts, submitted it, and we were done, but somehow my charges still reached over 6,000 when I was quoted 3,500 if we didn't need mediation. In addition I was giving access to a portal to communicate with them called CLIO, however they were very unresponsive and hard to contact there. My case closed July 16, 2024 and I am now waiting for a review before the remaining funds are returned to me. I was told that Felicia has 30 days to review the file before returning the retainer. However I spoke with them today (Sep 19, 2024) over 2 months after my case has closed and was told that she has now been tasked with doing the review but she hasn't got to it and doesn't have a date on when she can because she is busy. I am a entrepreneur myself and run multiple companies, which is why I feel that this is a completely unacceptable way to deal with a client. I don't usually write bad reviews but I do feel like people should be aware of my experience, and hopefully save them some of the trouble I've dealt with. read more

Greedy and inept are the most accurately descriptive words that come to mind when I reflect on my time being represented by the F.A.B. Law Firm during my divorce. Regardless of the specificities of said divorce, I constantly felt forgotten about by the FAB Law Firm... that is, unless my retainer fell below their minimum threshold. At that time boy oh boy were they ON IT with contacting me to either set up payment or they'd "unfortunately" have to drop me from their services, immediately. I spoke to Felicia only once, during the initial "Should I choose you to represent me or not?" phone call. After that, I went through probably six or so paralegals over the year and a half my divorce took. Some were good and answered questions thoroughly. Others sounded like they printed their degrees on pretty cardstock and got a , "Hey! You're hired!" from The Firm. I constantly had to ping any and all of the paralegals representing me for updates and additional information in order to move my case along. Prior to court-appointed mediation (a disaster btw, but that was initially and heavily due to my ex-wife sabotaging it before it even began), I did not receive a pre-mediation brief, we didn't discuss a game plan or BATNA/WATNA... nothing. In fact, I was unpleasantly surprised when the paralegal at my mediation was a face and voice I'd never seen nor heard... completely unknown to me. When we finally arrived at drafting and signing the Divorce Decree and Parenting Plan, there were NUMEROUS and OBVIOUS clerical errors: typos, incorrect punctuation and spacing, etc... you name it. The drafting I received could have come from a sophomore high school English Composition student at a B-rated school. It was completely unprofessional and frustrating, to say the least. The paralegals often relied on me to complete the bulk of the work and be the editor and proofreader of the final product. I am fairly certain there is phrasing in one section of my Parenting Plan that I just accepted as is, even though it wasn't descriptive enough to my request and to legal standards, because I didn't feel like getting charged another 15-60 minutes of time to read my email response and compose their response back to me. When all was said and done, and we FINALLY got that Divorce Decree from the judge, it was time for the final bill. I initially though I would receive a check from The Firm for a few hundred dollars that I calculated was remaining in my account with them; I actually received a bill for a few hundred dollars that I apparently owed. The surprise changes to my bill were basically where any time a paralegal had put their touch on any piece of work for me, what was once $150/hr, and billed at $150/hr months and months ago, suddenly was $450/hr. See, the going rate during my representation was $150/hr for paralegal work, $350/hr for work done by a junior lawyer, and $450/hr for work done by Miss Bunbury herself. I can almost guarantee you she didn't lay a hand on any of my divorce documentation... she's a busy woman! as was explained to me many times during the course of my divorce. Yet here it was, $450/hr charges, month after month for several months. My divorce bankrupted me, for a number of reasons. The Firm knew this was a highly likely scenario from early on in the proceedings; I kept things transparent. Yet even with this knowledge (don't tell me somebody didn't put it in some notes AT LEAST once, if not many more times) they wanted more money from me. I am a 100% permanently and totally disabled, medically retired Army veteran. And I didn't BS my injuries and illnesses to get that rating, It was well-earned during the roughly 9.5 years I served. My ability to physically work was and still is strained; every day is a new challenge. Only by the grace of God and a very understanding group of administrators was my displeasure heard, conveyed, and somewhat rectified. As a "favor" Miss Bunbury offered to zero out my bill; I owe them nothing and vice-versa. I accepted just to move on with my life. 2 stars, only because of this relief. read more

She painted an amazing picture when we first talk just to get me to get the retainer money of $7,000.00 not to mention the $300 dollars I paid to talk to her. She promised me that's all I will pay if it doesn't go to trial & I will maybe have some retainer money left for me. All that was recorded by their firm. A month before my mediation I received text, e-mail & a Clío-portal message that if I don't re-punish my retainer with $3,500.00 they will withdrawal me from the case! I felt I was being threatened. Long story short we disagree back & forth they send me the withdrawal papers I denied to sign it. Went to hearing with a judge & I was never allowed in on the Webex & they granted motion to them, when I was on the phone waiting for them to let me in the waiting room. They put parties never showed up. This wasn't fair! & if they did it to me they are doing the same to many other innocent people out there & attorneys like this we need to stop them!! We go to them with trust for them to do this to us. Thankfully I was able to get my divorce without them but I sure gonna try my best to try to get this lawyer from doing this to other. I'm gonna keep writing reviews!! Her sweet voice it's convincing but at the end she becomes another person when she can't collect more money. Don't go through the experience I went through. I work more in my case than they did including her other attorneys that work with hers. & I collected a lot of prove because I knew in my guts they weren't right & I thank God for that!! DO NOT USE THIS FIRM!!! Felicia A. Bunbury is a CROOK who takes advantage of people when they're going through a traumatic event (divorce). I'm disappointed in myself for seeing a Black face and thinking I'd give my business to my people. A hard lesson has been taught and learned. I reached out to this firm to represent me in a divorce. I was told it would cost $5300 and the asked that I use their in-house finance compan. I received the entire amount through Affirm And it was paid directly to FAB Law Firm. I went through their onboarding process only and decided to call the divorce off 3 days later after receiving contradictory information from separate lawyers on staff. I received a bill for $1100 for consultation with the 2 attorneys. This deduction left more than $4000 remaining in which Fab law is refusing to refun. I'm now left with paying the finance company the full $5000 but did not receive any representation from FAB Law. They didn't earn the money therefore they should refund the money. Why should I be stuck with paying for services I did no receive? This matter could be easily resolved if they refund the money they didn't earn. I contacted Fab Law repeatedly (Barbara, Jose and Miranda) and have been told Felicia does not give refunds. This firm is as crooked as the day is long and Should not be used by anyone.Please don't use this firm, you've been warned. read more

As an out of town client I needed a professional, organized, dedicated and honest law firm to represent my case. My experience was exactly the opposite! After using up my entire retainer and billing me almost $1k more before we ever stepped foot in a courtroom - I had to walk away from this firm! This was for one contempt issue in a final divorce. I had more than 8 cancellations, an attorney (no longer working there) not show up for a Zoom meeting, but then was charged when I couldn't show up to a Zoom meeting due to a fiber cut! I had another attorney who I could never even make out his name call me randomly for meetings several times with children crying in the background, got insulted by him (said I was giving him a headache), charged (and over-charged) for unnecessary intakes and more intakes every time someone working there who did an intake with me left the firm (more than twice), emails and phone calls that were unnecessary, SO MANY intakes which were just a way to pad the bill more as I told them to put the case on hold for almost a year, then threatened last month they were going to withdraw due to an outstanding bill (that I never received) from Lucas - which was a complete shock that not only did they use up my entire retainer, but apparently I owed them almost $1k more???!!! I looked on my email and I never received a bill. I was then told I only had 10 days to dispute it (even though I never received it) and the CLIO site showed my bill paid (yes I took a screenshot). Lucas then sent an email with my bill again with the threat of withdrawing. So to sum it up there was finally a motion filed and it contained the WRONG INFORMATION after my many intakes of giving them an exact figure. I told Ms. Bunbury and she said they would amend the motion yet I never saw where that was done and yet I was charged for filing incorrect information in the motion. To make matters worse - I hired Ms. Bunbury and the got moved to Zuhair Fannash. That was not who I hired. I had also asked before filing to try to settle out of court with mediation. While Ms. Bunbury agreed and it was also in the final divorce that mediation had to be done before going to court - it NEVER HAPPENED! So now I'm out of the money and had to come up with another retainer. I will never work with this firm again. Waste of thousands of $$$ and nothing resolved. Just a side note that I hired this firm based on many reviews I read. I was told that those reviews are "paid for" reviews not all real reviews from actual clients - one of the real reviews I read said they kept deleting her review and to avoid the firm at all costs. I wish I would've seen that review first. I feel duped, I feel like I got bait and switched because my first meeting with Ms. Bunbury she said she was gonna fight hard for me and then I got some other attorney who was disrespectful to me, and I also feel like I hired them under false pretenses because of the so called "fake" reviews. read more
