Many of these infants will require adjustments to formula type, formula consistency, bottle/nipple flow rate as well oral medications. I recommend the RESQ Wedge to many families as an excellent non-invasive way to improve reflux. Dr. Rick DFW area, Texas

I am a first-time mother of a young infant. Nothing prepared me for the feeding/sleeping…read moredifficulties my little one endured in her first month of life. Our little one would be so content if we held her upright all the time, but that can get very tiring very quickly. I had never heard of silent reflux or GERD until her symptoms gradually worsened. We first noticed that she would scream in fear when we laid her down to change her clothes and diapers, but what baby isn't fussy then? Next, we thought it odd that our one week old couldn't sleep or feed well. She often would roll over to her stomach if placed on her back. By week three, if ever I needed to lay her down within an hour of feeding her, say to change her diaper, she would spit up or get gurgling hiccups that would give her heartburn, gas, and abdominal pain for hours. If she didn't spit up at the changing table, she would with the hiccups or worse, projectile vomit which would then cause really bad wheezing and nasal congestion-stuffiness. I was often so afraid to lay her on her back in her crib despite everyone saying it is a SIDS risk not to do so that I used to prop myself up with pillows and lay her on my chest so we could both sleep. Both of us could not sleep well this way, but at least by keeping her upright, she wouldn't wheeze so badly. We both became so exhausted with this endless routine of tears, screams, and sporadic sleep. My husband and I knew our baby had to be propped up and tried for a week to do so with her carseat, a bouncer, pillows in the crib, and a swing that we could never swing her in, but everything caused her to scream in pain from gas or heartburn. When we got the rescue wedge, we placed her on her stomach the first night because that is most like sleeping on my chest. I watched her with tears streaming down my face as for the first time in a week, she was sleeping soundly. I had to wake her up to feed her three hours later. Once I got her to burp, I put her back on the wedge and she (and I) slept for three hours!!!! When she and I awoke, she was much more calm as she ate because she had not spit up or vomited in six hours and wasn't as hungry. Within a few days, her breathing began to improve. She was eventually able to play while laying at an angle on her back while strapped to the other side of the wedge! Our lives have been changed by the RESQ wedge. I for instance, I have peace of mind enough to be able to eat, sleep, and shower while she is sleeping on the RESQ wedge because I know she can breathe easily and will not get gassy, Because our little one is eating, playing, and sleeping so much better, my husband and I happily recommend the RESQ wedge to anyone with an infant suffering from reflux and chronic congestion or breathing issues.

I have been blessed with really mindful and personable service. I really like going through all the gadgets in the store. I find so many great tools for making my life easier. Literally from eating utensils to going potty. There is a kindness that resonates from the initial greeting to the farewell after checkout. Jacob was the clinician that gave me my Cpap teaching. He is not a store employee, but he has his little room inside the main store. The thing that is cool is that the store staff has good relationship with Cpap staff and can say with certainty that they are great with customers . I really like that there are also some great sales. I picked up a lot of tool to help me be safer, independent, increase my functioning, and reduce my pain.
