After 6 month, I am allowed to rent month by month with a premium over original rent. I found a job and relocated to another state. I did not expect that they refund part of my last month's rent. But they did! And they also refunded all my deposit. The management team Steve and Robin are very friendly and helpful. Maintenace guy is also very friendly. Moncks Corner is a small town. But people there are very kind. In the six months that I stayed there, I have never seen any crime. It is a very safe and quiet community and is ranked the best apartment in Berkerly county. I believe they deserve it.

We have ended up staying, both because house prices went way up and because we have had such a great experience living here at Legends. Going on 3 years now and really no issues, just wonderful things to say. The community is great, super clean and well taken care of, and we love the pool area, gym, and free coffee. The events they put on really tip the scales for us and make it hard to leave! They are constantly doing parties and get togethers to foster community that are so fun. Our favorite have been the murder mystery parties. We have won so many gift cards at these events it's almost ridiculous. I recently joined the book club and we had an author come to talk with us about her book and the Legends staff set up the club house with decor and amazing food. The other payment options is a bill collections site which charges also. No one charges a person to pay a bill. They don't want you to drop off your payment because of Covid-19 but the maintenance person comes into your apartment without a mask or the pest control people. Hold your employees accountable just like you don't want us in the office to pay rent. The common areas are poorly cleaned if at all. The breezeways are dirty, some of the light bulbs are blown out it's hard to see going down the stairs but the rent continue to climb. The advertise dishwashers but there is none. When they did their so call remodel I was told that I would get hardwood floors, dishwasher, bathroom upgraded and of course ...NOT it didn't happen. It took MONTHS just to get the place painted and the carpet cleaned. RENTERS beware!!!!

My dog has serious skin issues, which I clearly explained before even moving in. One of the main reasons I chose this place was the dog washing room, but it closes at 8 PM--and sometimes even earlier depending on their mood. My dog needs to be washed frequently, so what's the point of paying for a "dog washing area" that's never open when you need it! When I mentioned this to the assistant manager, all I received was disrespectful communication. I have never lived in an apartment complex where the dog wash isn't accessible 24/7. I've reached out for a response and have heard nothing back. Many of my neighbors told me this kind of treatment is normal here. I tried to use the dog washing spa today at 6:35 PM and, once again, it was closed. What a complete disappointment. Counting down the days until my lease is over.

The apartments did not return my $250 after I was denied. Talking to other apartments and other home rental agencies, I have not run into anybody who said the $250 was nonrefundable if you are denied. Also, the Office staff did not even check with my former landlord for a reference. I rented a house from him and stay in touch frequently. He said no one ever contacted him.
