Great Family focused atmosphere. It was very welcoming. This church seems to get it. They offer a…read morevariety of things for me and my family throughout the week and on Sunday mornings. It was well worth the trip out of town. It was great to come early, get a doughnut, and then go to a Sunday school class. The teacher was welcoming, and they used a video to prompt more discussion. Then the worship service was a nice way to come together with fellow believers. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

This really isn't a review. But…read more.. Um... What? I thought when we were there that i was the only jew in Mattoon. Apparently some have moved in. There goes the neighborhood. Now there are going to be kosher chinese restaurants and hebrew schools popping up everywhere. Looks like i wont be as special when we go visit from now on. Unless this is more of a center for people who support the idea of jewish people, rather than a place for jewish people. Maybe it is like a museum. Like when you go to an aquarium in Ohio or something. Maybe it is just hypothetical, like should jewish people live here, here is the building that would host their center... I doubt we will ever know. It keeps the mystery alive as long as i don't research it. Okay, rant over.
