Filament is located inside of Diamond Jo casino. One waitress for whole restaurant, but very good service in spite of that. We ordered an Italian beef sandwich and korean chicken tacos. Both were good. The "world's greatest fries" were good, but not spectacular. The tacos were good, but did not have the promised gojujang sauce on them. Sweet, not spicy due to a sweet slaw. Chips were good. Salsa just ok. Convenient choice for a quick bite while visiting the casino. read more

Hello This place is worth checking. Note that it is part of the Diamond Joe Casino. I had the T Pork sandwich. It is very good and very large. I was surprised they made their own sweet pickles! Very good also. The place inside is very clean and trendy and Terry did a great job serving from the bar! It is pretty much a burger and sandwich place. So if expectations are different do not go! Man, I really wanted to hit the 5 star button but just couldn't! Service was good but like everywhere else, short staffed because people don't want to work, but those here that did show up, excellent service! Pesto chicken Pasta was very good but could have used como bread because the pesto sauce was amazing...too bad! Chicken was good but too grisly which was a bit of a turn off. Good food and the service was very good. I was surprised the restaurant was not busier. Plenty of large screen TVs so you can keep up with whatever sport you follow. This restaurant is inside the Diamond Jo casino. There are fantastic things about this place, but some things are spotty and some bad. Some this depends on the day and the server you get. One fantastic thing on the menu, and far and away the best thing, is the "Iowa T" tenderloin sandwich. It is HUGE and thick. The butterfly pork chop is bigger than one bun, seasoned wonderfully, and tastes delicious. Since it is bigger than the bun, we split the entree and asked for a second bun. First time we ate there, the extra bun was free. The second time, we had to pay $2 for the extra bun. One really bad thing is the "Reuben Egg Roll". I was intrigued and ordered it. DO NOT get this dish. First you get only two medium sized egg rolls for the $11. The inside is hard to identify as corned beef or sauerkraut, or Swiss cheese. It is this mushy paste and honestly inedible. We could not eat it and fortunately when we complained, they took it off the bill. There are other things on their menu which are good. We visited The Filament for a quick bite while visiting Diamond Jo Casino. The wait to sit was awful. It was only myself and my husband in line. Four members of staff walked by us numerous times in ten minutes without even saying a word or making eye contact. There were several visible tables available, and we even watched two of them stand chatting while changing channels on the TV. Still, ignoring us. Once seated our water and soda came fast, and our order was taken. Since we were just grabbing a quick bite we shared the Bourbon sliders and cheese curds. We were not disappointed with the food at all. The sliders were cooked perfectly, served hot, and every morsel was delicious. The cheese curds were classier than what I am used to, and I'm from Wisconsin. They were flavorful and hot. Overall, very good value, and excellent flavor. Staff was poor. read more

My bf and I ate here several months ago and the "hostess" did not seem to be very happy to be working but thankfully we went back last night and our server, Bri, was AWWSOME!! She was extremely friendly and had a beautiful smile no matter if she was at our table or someone else's. Bri definitely needs to be promoted and given a raise because she cares about her customer's. I can't say enough about how she made us feel SO MUCH more better than the grouch that was working there a few months ago. read more
