We moved from Sydney, this place would do well there, but I'm glad it's in Toowoomba, and it is one of the very few places that tick all the boxes for a great Cafe. The coffee here is fabulous, I am very fussy with my coffee, Half strength, extra hot, skinny Latte. They make it to perfection. Great food, a small menu, makes for consistency and quality. There is on street parking which is easy enough to find a spot. The Park House has many rooms for in door and a large out door area as well as footpath dining. It is walk up and be seated - your choice of space and table. The service has been exceptional - always polite and positive. Once seated the menus are provided- the range of food choices is more extensive than than you would think, with a some vegan and gluten free options. My daughter went for the squid salad, BLT for my other half both good quality and good country serves. Left room for desert - GF chocolate cake ticked all the boxes Prices are reasonable. The best of rural and urban.

When we finally received our order and returned to our car, we opened our order to find each piece was wrapped in separate butcher paper that was so loaded with oil that it was soggy to the point that the fish could not be picked up. Oil was leaking from the paper already. The fish was obviously frozen prior to cooking as it had gone a lovely depth of mushy with a vile sour tangy taste. After a few scoops with the fingers, as you couldn't pick it up properly, we gave up and bundled it up for the dogs. Urth Baked Eggs-Freshly cracked egg baked in creme freche & feta, with baby spinach, prosciutto, cherry tomatoes, fresh thyme and served with Turkish toast fingers. This is yummo, very tasty, a smallish serve but just enough to satisfy. My favourite choice when we eat here. Partner had the Eggs Benny with ham. Always tasty, always fresh, a favourite of his. Lots of choices on the menu, something for everyone, kids included. Seating is mixed. High benches with stools, long tables with chairs, and a couple of small round tables. There is outdoor as well as indoor seating, the indoor area is surrounded by clear blinds that are pulled up to let in the fresh air in summer. They have "lounge type" seating around a low table that would be great for s group having coffee/and/or nibblies and a drink.
