I explained the situation calmly, expecting at least a sliver of understanding -- silly me. Instead, I was greeted by someone who clearly thought she was auditioning for the role of "Strict Rule Enforcer #1" in a dystopian film or guarding Fort Knox. No grace period. No flexibility. No empathy. Just a robotic "sorry, policy is policy" while she stared at me like I had personally ruined her week. Rules are one thing, but human decency? Apparently optional. If you're looking for an experience that combines inflexibility, rudeness, and a total lack of emotional intelligence -- look no further.
