They also sell tile and Tim found the perfect tile to go with my kitchen remodel. I did go to the other stores around town that sell flooring. Village carpet beat all of them. The installers were very nice, professional and funny. They were very careful when moving my furniture. They did a great job removing the old carpet and pad. Cleaned the floor before installing my new carpet. Once they finished installing I vacuumed the carpet and they replaced the furniture. next I had the laminate floor installed. The gentleman that took up my old ceramic tile worked his butt off. He got the old floor up in one day. Next day he installed the new floor. Than came the ceramic backsplash tile installed. Another great job. Took 2 days. Again I'm surprised how fast, neat and caring every one from the owners to the installers. I would have never know they were here. They did a great job and

I had the appliances moved and most of the furniture . They came in started the vinyl and then moved to the den and started the carpet. They changed me for moving the appliances and furniture and they didn't have to move any of it if they had done the vinyl 1st. They didn't even do my half bath. I asked why I would have all the floors done and leave a half bath. One of my refrigerators got unplugged. I was not reimbursed for any of the food I lost. I have used them different times throughout the years. I've never had experience with them like this one and I will not ever use them again.

    Twin Lakes Woodworking & Remodeling

We hired Twin Lakes Woodworking and Remodeling (husband/wife team - Terry/Stephanie Cormican) for…read morekitchen remodel. At initial scheduled meeting, Stephanie did not smile or introduce herself nor had she reviewed the details (measurements, color and design preferences) we had emailed per their request several days earlier. That should have been red flag #1, but we went ahead, discussed our project although she was unenthusiastic, and provided a good faith deposit and signed a contract which stated they would supply time frames for start and completion of project. The very first question we asked: "What is the time frame was for completing our project?" Stephanie hesitantly told us "sometime in March-April". We were given a day the next month when designs were to be completed, but we never heard anything. We understood they were busy with other clients, so we waited an additional month before sending an email simply to ask when we could schedule the second meeting to review their design. Terry replied that they were backed-up with inventory and had fallen behind due to illness, etc... which, again, is understandable. However, we were floored when his email ended with: "Unless you will agree to an undetermined length of time, we will return your deposit." It had already been two months, so we wrote back to point out that the new kitchen appliances would not be delivered for 4 more months (6 months after initial meeting). We asked if a six-month time frame work for them. Again, we were shocked when Terry replied that since we "would not agree to an undetermined length of time", he was returning our deposit and would put it in the mail that day! We asked him to please call us to discuss, but he did not call us. We left a message at their shop, but he did not return our call. In summation, Twin Lakes did not abide by the terms of their own contract. They set us back two months of wait time when we could have easily hired and been waiting our turn with another design firm. The same week Terry abruptly canceled our project, a friend called them about refurbishing her kitchen and was informed the time frame would be 4-6 months. How are we to reconcile that Twin Lakes was willing to take on new clients and give them a kitchen in 4-6 months, while at the same time they are telling current clients (who had already submitted a deposit, signed a contract AND said we were willing to wait 6 months) that we had to agree to "an undetermined length of time." So, buyer beware! This couple lack integrity, are extremely unprofessional and deceitful.

We had previously had a tile backsplash installed above the original 4" quartz backsplash, and I didn't see how the original could be removed without damaging some of those tiles, but they did it! It was a good experience and they did quality work, and my wife and I were both very satisfied. I had seen earlier negative reviews, but I have to say that our experience was positive all around!

Worst possible granite install!!!…read more Severely damaged our cabinets and drywall during the install. Quote to replace the damaged cabinets was over $3,000.00 for just material. They came back after installing the tops and made poor quality repairs to the granite where they miscut the tops trying to install them. After holding out on the final payment they came out after insulting us at their shop and said they could just paint the damaged cabinets vs replacing the drawers and cabinet. They had no intention of fixing their mess correctly and just wanted to hide it by paint in hopes we would wear down and go away. My wife was furious and decided she didn't want them in our house any more and we gave them the final check. We had over 15k in granite and the install was the lowest quality you would find and they had no customer service to correct their mistake and just wanted to cover it up. I would never have them work for us again and would recommend anyone looking for granite or solid surface tops to go to homedepot or Harrison and find someone there.
