It's humongous so unless you haven't eaten for days you should go with the small portion, which on its own was too much for me to eat. Both were pretty good but no napkins! Must be a shortage in Beer. We then had a clotted cream tea, which you have to have in the west country. Very good ones too! Beer is small and not a lot opened especially in November, out of the tourist season. The tea rooms also are attached to a guest house. The tea room had wifi but I wasn't given the password since I wasn't a guest in the guest house. Buying a sandwich and tea doesn't count obviously.

I do recall staggering into them after a night on the shandy, hoping for something to cure a hangover. A pot of their fresh made tea and a mountain of hot buttered toast usually did the trick. These little tea-rooms are clean, bright, superbly run and serve everything to set off a perfect summer's afternoon. Teas, scones (delicious) hot buttered toast (vital) and home-made cakes, along with filled rolls, all make for a perfect snack to enjoy whilst looking out over the bay.
