I don't like the business model of having "budtenders". I don't find them helpful, except for reading the labels (see below). I asked a budtender what she meant by "high quality" and she got all snippy because she couldn't answer. I think they just sell you whatever. You don't even get a choice when wanting to buy the highest THC% weed, they show you one and don't say here's one a little lower THC, but much lower price. Barely a discount when buying a higher quantity. I just feel like I don't need nor want all the nonsense that the industry has started. AND, the DAMN PRINT on the labels is impossible to read!!! Those last 4 lines is the important info! I want a day when it's clearly priced and labeled. I won't be purchasing any brand that comes in the those large plastic/glass containers for 3.5 g again either. They need better suppliers or something. I'm the type of person that just wants to buy some really high level THC weed so I smoke less for a reasonable price. I would prefer to buy a larger quantity to save $ and trips. I think all the indica/sativa, blah, blah, blah is mostly hooey. Just post the THC levels and price for 3.5g/8th, 1/2, ounce. Heck, I want to buy it in cardboard packages already ground. I don't care if it is a blend as long as thoroughly and legitimately tested. I usually use a simple pipe. Yes, parking lot is way too small for traffic and dangerous!!! Other than this last purchase (Aeriz, Now & Later tastes like hay), the weed has been okay, though expensive. Their brand was very good, but now they are out in higher THC levels. I just started weed again since it became legal (I had a medical license years ago, but didn't renew it. Another money-grubbing bunch of hooey.) This place was Sky and Flower Shop seems pretty much the same. I haven't been to others since it became legal for all, but I hope the business model gets much more simple and serious (testing/labeling). i created a Yelp account SPECIFICALLY to leave this review. I am surprised their rating is as high as it is, and I'm about to tell u why. On 3/15 I went in and bought their store brand, 2 gram Indica disposable vape pen. Wouldn't charge and it was "clogged". I went back on 3/16 and they exchanged it. Pen worked great for 4-5 days and then it started shutting off when I was using it and "clogging" again after each hit. I went back today, 7 days from the LAST exchange. I was told that all that was "normal" for dispIsabel's, and it's not. I have NEVER experienced that from a working disposable. Not in the middle of being used. Then tells me because it's been 7 days, theres nothing they can do. And then they acted surprised when I left without the broken pen. WTF am I going to do with a broken disposable?! If I could give 0 stars I would. Their house brand should b better and their customer service NEEDS to be better. I'll go back to one of the other NUMEROUS options. The manager of the flower shop has terrible customer service. Bought a cartridge off them for the first time after buying flower from them multiple times, it broke in less then 12 hours, completely shattered. I came in next day as soon as I can and he tried to blame me saying I broke and shattered it. Why would I do that? He has no respect for his loyal customers who come consistently and doesn't deserve to work as a manager. Would never recommend this shop to ANYONE. They are terrible and so are their employees. No wonder this place has so many smokin deals lately, after reading through these reviews it's obvious they've been slowly losing business over the past few years from poor customer service and are scrambling to get people in the door. unfortunately I will be joining those disappointed customers in not coming back and choosing to spend my money elsewhere. they don't fulfill their online orders tilll several hours after ETA and i know it's not because they're busy because whenever i go in there are hardly any customers now (they used to be packed all the time). i've also had my orders completely disappear/deleted before, even after receiving email confirmation. never experienced this with any other dispo and others also use Dutchie for their point of sale. don't know if this is their way of getting/scamming people to come into the store and spending more money. i make sure to do online orders because i know exactly what i'm looking for and i will not drive 25+ min somewhere for them to say what i saw online is actually out of stock then getting roped into spending more than expected. if this place doesn't get new management soon or a reality check they will likely be closing due to losing so much service. read more

I got to my car wrong strain,when I went back in you'd think I was the bad guy. Been a customer for 12 years but no longer even though I live nearby. They lost my business. I don't give 1 star reviews often, but this place deserves 0 stars. This just might be the all-time most poorly managed business I have ever dealt with. I was a regular loyal customer for 8 months; Jan-Aug 2020. It was the only establishment I patronized for my medicine. They consistently had extremely low inventory of flower. Usually only 2-3 varieties available. EVERY TIME I WENT THERE. I thought this was just normal, as I had never been to another dispensary. One day, a few weeks ago, they had a sign on their door saying no flower. So I was forced to try another place. I was absolutely stunned when I walked into this new place after a warm greeting and the sight of a huge selection, over a dozen varieties. I returned to the Flower Shop in early September, as it is close to home and I knew I had built up some of their loyalty points. Upon arrival, there were no customers in the store. A couple employees were chatting about something behind the counter. Another looked up and offered to help. I hand her my card, she checked me in and handed it back, saying someone would be right with me. As I stood there awkwardly in the empty lobby, one of the chatting employees glanced at me a couple of times. After a short time of more chatting, she called my name as if there were other customers waiting. It was a scene straight out of Meet the Parents when Greg was asked to wait for his turn at the airport gate with nobody else there. I was then informed that the points system is no longer active as of the end of August 2020, and that they gave everyone 2 weeks notice. She said she was trying to tell as many as she could during those final 2 weeks, but a lot of other customers apparently missed this notice just as I did and they have a lot of upset people, including employees who were also able to obtain points for future discounts. This is a highly unethical way to do business. They tried to hook a bunch of unsuspecting customers who didn't know any better, let them think they are earning discounts for loyalty, and then pulled the rug out from under everyone. I understand how a loyalty discount program can prove to be too costly, but they should have just stopped giving points, and give everyone an opportunity to redeem their previously earned points. This place is not worth your time. There are MANY other, much better options in the east valley. read more

Beware!!!! This place is so sketchy. I delayed in posting this as I did not want this to ruin our vacation. A little over a week ago we came to Arizona for a vacation. My son (who is 22) gets anxiety and he wanted me to take him to a marijuana shop. Since he was not on the rental, I had to drive him there. He went in and came out, and just when he was getting in the car two people walked up to our car and told him that his money was counterfeit. They had him go back into the store. He went in first, and I followed soon after. When he first came in the guy wanted him to pay for the product. My son handed him the change that he had given him from the supposed $50 counterfeit bill. The guy started to take it as payment and my son, being the honest person he is, told him "no that was the change you gave me from my $50 bill". The guy said then oh OK well then you owe me another $25. At that point I walked up to the counter, trying to figure out what was going on. The money my son used was either from us for his birthday or from my parents. Both of which would have come from a bank. I'm fairly certain the bank is not handing out counterfeit bills!!!! I asked him if we could see it and he kept refusing. Saying he tested it three times. I kept demanding, we see it, he finally walked back to a back room and grabbed a $50 bill and held it up at a distance and then put it down in that back room area. He would not allow us to even see it or get a close look. He then made a comment that my son walked out of the store super fast as if he was acting like a criminal or something. The truth was I was waiting in the car for him, and he probably was hurrying because he knew I was waiting. Either way it was a rude comment, and he basically was saying my son was a criminal. I think those types of accusations are very hurtful and also very damaging. We asked if we could have the money back and he said no. I told him that we were going to call the police (which we now know we should have done) and he threatened my son that he would be arrested. I asked to talk to a manager and he said he was the manager. Then this supposed manager called someone else over to finish the transaction. Great management skills I suppose, which again to me was very sketchy as well. Of course my son did not want to give them any more money because they just stole $50 from him, so we left. So, at this point my biggest regret is not calling the police. Since then, we have spoken to the police, and they told us yes we should've called them and had them come to that store immediately. Here's the issues I am having, I'm 99% sure that that my son's $50 bill was NOT counterfeit. Typically, when I have seen a cashier check a bill they do this in front of you and before they are giving you change. It takes less than 2 seconds to test. THIS MANAGER DID NOT DO THIS!!!! He waited until my son was already out the door - which is very suspicious. For all we know, he did have a counterfeit bill in the back somewhere and he was saying that was the one my son gave him and pocketed the real money. But also, we were told that those pins that test bills aren't always 100% accurate. If there was a certain chemical on that bill, it could test wrong. There were other ways to make sure it was not counterfeit and this business should know that. Also, the police said they could have watched their surveillance video to make sure it was the $50 bill he was testing was ours, but also to make sure that the test was accurate. Our mistake. Obviously, we will never go to this business again. Just please be careful when giving this place your money, our whole experience was awful and completely sketchy, but the worst part is this place made my son feel like a criminal when he is NOT. We just don't want anyone else to experience this! read more

Man I really wish I could love this shop but one of their budtenders just lost them a customer. Regularly spend a few hundred here a month and today I go in and it was an awful experience. First off, I'm hard of hearing, so when I didn't hear the budtender Daryn ask for my ID, instead of simply asking me again, he talked at me like I was stupid, doing a funny voice saying "still need to see that ID!" (This guy is easily past his 30s by the way just completely immature) Then I ask for the two for 1 vital gummies deal, he gives me some flavors to choose and I choose them, NO MENTION that some were 1:1 and 2:1 gummies. So instead of going into just grab a couple packs of THC gummies, I left with one pack of THC gummies and one pack 2:1. Aren't you a budtender dude? Isn't that your job to give out the correct stuff? Wish I feel like I could go back but nah, Green Pharms is down the road and while a bit pricier, at least they never screw up as bad as that dude did in a matter of 5 minutes. I went in on Thursday spent an hour in line and spent over 200$ on cartridges just to open one today that had no kind of security tape on it to find the box empty. I've tried calling 6 plus time because the line is always outrageous to try, and see how they can help me before I go in and have to wait and no one answers. I've came to this location numerous times and have never had an issue until this week when I purchase a different brand of carts with no kind of safety tape just a button to open it.. beware of what you are buying from them and even ask to make sure the product is in the box before leaving. read more

I'm pretty pissed because this was my first time buying here. I'm a California native, and know my the difference between Indica, Sativa, and Hybrid. I'm currently stuck in Arizona with a broken foot, and have little to no options when it comes to finding Pax pods. I only use sativa or hybrids when nothing else is available, like now because I fucking hate Indica, or Indica dominant. Online it was advertised as hybrid, so I went with it. Once I opened it at home it turns out it's a fucking Indica. I know weed just became legal in AZ, but get your shit together because the kids running the show don't know what they are doing. I have been a loyal pick-up customer for years before the brand change. August they changed their online ordering system and now, it's unreliable and glitchy. So, I stopped going. Gave it a chance again today, even worse experience. When I bring up the issues the response is very lackadaisical and I am treated as if I am the asshole when I place a pick up order that is either not ready, completely wrong, or I have to call for the status since they don't seem to care about updating. This was my first trip to a dispensary since getting my card. I received a buy one get one since it was my first time. They had a decent selection of edibles. From the product point of view I liked everything. The person who helped me was cool and knew his stuff. Couple things I didn't like: I had an issue with a homeless person outside the store. He was kicked out of the store initially by staff; and then he waited on the side of the building. As I walked to my car, he stops me on the way to press me for product. It placed me in an awkward and difficult situation. I guess shopping at night is a bad idea.. I won't be doing it again. This used to be my go to dispensary. After today I will be shopping elsewhere. I bought an abstrakt 1g cartridge(strawberry cough). it tastes like chemicals mixed with chapstick. I tried to call so it wasn't a waste of time to go there. unfortunately they don't answer the phone so I had to show up. The manager said since it puffs and "smells like strawberry cough" there is nothing they can do about it. TL:DR - Go to Mint, it's worth the extra few miles. Very small menu of items most of which are out of stock, all way overpriced and that's if you can even get a parking spot in their tiny lot. Staff offers no solutions when unable to park and tells you to park at Circle K or other privately owned lot, risking being towed. Cheapest 1/8th is $45 and is usually old and dried out. Advertised specials are usually "out of stock" for days at a time. Security talks about the customers behind their backs and will threaten to make you leave if you speak up about it should you hear them. You'll save time, money and grief going to Mint on Southern and Mesa. read more
